To be honest I thought they would finally offer a decent number sometime Friday given that was the original release date given in the press release.

At any rate, my set is on the way and should be here Wednesday.

 

Pins! These things are pinned! Everywhere. No screws. Only pins. The exact opposite of the Siege version. Hasbro uses the wrong shade of purple, forgets the tail fin stripes & if that wasn't bad enough they made it impossible to take apart to repaint.  

 

With everyone literally making a mad dash to buy them up? All my Targets within a half hour drive blew out of them on day 2 of the post saying they were in the stock room and haven't gotten more yet.  

 

The closest one to me said they would be put out after 1:00. They didn't make it to 4:00.

Yeah, this was brought up when comparing build quality to Siege. Pin-o-mania. For the most part, this is actually a good thing. For people who like to mod or need to do repairs, then it's a bad thing. They even use the super tiny flathead pins, so you can't even remove those safely at all (even too small for most hobby soldering iron tips).

 

exactly it shouldn't be this hard to give a company $60.

I remember finally getting the seeker 3 pack through Target's website last year. Looking back it took about 6 days of restocks before I could pick it up. Been a bit longer here.

 

Unfortunately my Thundercracker has the bad wing issue. I've tried trimming the slightest bit of material and the peg reinforcing. Hopefully these packs will hit full distribution soon so I can try to get a good one. In the mean time I may just see if I can get another loose TC. I might trade my TRU MP Starscream for one.

 

Fuuuck, got stuck with UPS delivery ... unions suck  

 

Came back in stock about 40 minutes ago and of course I get the notification AFTER it sells out again. I'll keep watching.

 

WTF?

All three major shipping companies have unions. Also how good each of them is really depends on your individual driver, not the company. If your packages are handled badly you should report it to the company not complain online about "unions" as though its some sort of catch all word that stands for late package delivery.

Without unions we'd still have child labor, 12 hours/7 day workweeks, no minimum wage, and all kinds of terrible things.

 

my bad, I was being tongue in cheek but I can’t emphasize enough how much the UPS union specifically sucks ... trust me, I have extensive insider knowledge, just don’t want to divulge too much, but there’s a reason why the pandemic is effecting them exponentially worse and it’s not biological in nature if you follow ...
