I'm still curious if the October orders on pulse will be pre-orders or in stock orders, that's about the only thing that wasn't clear on the press release

 

If you guys want to talk about a General Lee Transformer, make a thread in the Transformers Toys forum, be aware if it goes political it’ll more than likely get shut down on the spot. It keeps getting brought up in this thread when this thread is for Gigawatt.

 

Mattel currently has the Jurassic Park toy license, so that may be a barrier.

 

Sad, people paid so much on Ebay. Wonder what they will feel like in October. Hasbro is going to run the mold to death, no reason not to make a bunch of them. It will likely have more than enough that will press hard against the value of a little sticker.

 

Highly doubtful of that. It's still a numbered exclusive which will retain value.

 

I'd almost forgotten about that and forgotten how awesome it looks. It would have been so cool for Hasbro to go to that kind of effort with Gigawatt, but I'm not surprised they cheaped out with a Chug figure.

...actually, I remember doing a lot of research on that custom years ago. I even bought an MP Prowl KO and one of the Delorean model car kits to try and make my own. Never really got around to doing anything with it.
I should dig them out and take a stab at it.

 

Also Gigawatt is a pretty ingenious name for the DeloreanTransformer.
I wonder what the Steampunk 3rd Bttf movie time travelling train will be called?

I feel like something rooted in Verne and Wells (the sci fi authors Doc's kids were named for) fits.

Maybe something classical like Tempus Fugitron or something.

I'd like to see PotP Primal redone as a hoverboard with 5mm foot pegs.

That way all 3 movies get a figure.

Astrotrain as the time train with a retooled tender car that turns in to a hoverboard and boosters.

Would be big enough for Gigawatt to use, too.

 

Save that for 2025 for the 35th anniversary of BTTF3.

 

I didn't want it until these names. Now I can't live without it.

No need for me to go through the Hasbro Pulse website.

recipe is a siege Swindler with “modifications”. I can’t wait to see Gigawatt brandishing this little guy.

 

i think i might skip this one and just get the top gun and ghostbuster transformers. But if they make a knight rider K.I.T.T car I\'m all over that. And I think they would just make a generations Tracks that ends up being modified for KITT

 

I watched some reviews for Ectotron last night--seems a bit more fiddly (backpack) and loosey-goosey (knees) than I'd like. I'm really pumped about Gigawatt, and I'm very interested in seeing more of Maverick. A K.I.T.T. would be awesome...though I've never bought a crossover before, I could see having a small trifecta of classic 80s film vehicles/TFs.
