And now I think their site is bugged. They look they can be added to the cart but I get the out of stock message when I try to. Target's website sucks.

There used to be a time when store exclusives were hard to find in the US, and a pain in the ass to obtain for European fans.

These days, many of them can be easily ordered from online retailers in Europe, while they're scalper fodder in the US.

With the cost of living and poor leadership in most places on the west coast it's not worth it.

Thank you for the offer, but I have lived here my whole life, and do not have the desire to move elsewhere. :)

It has become that way, hasn't it? I know it used to be that Europe didn't even get whole waves of figures, let alone exclusives. Clearly something changed. Happy for Europeans (because more people getting cool toys is never a bad thing) but just wish it were a little easier here, haha!

Only for the first few weeks. Two months from now both of these new 2 packs will be sitting on Target's shelves collecting dust, and people here won't notice because they already spent days staying up all night to catch quick restocks.

I would be more excited about the clones if I knew we were getting the twins. After what Lenny said in Fan Friday I'm sure we are, but my local Target is not giving me much confidence that I'll ever see them on the shelf.

I finally got one! Just happened to refresh the page when it came in. About a minute after I checked out, I got the in stock email from Target. Like, gee thanks! Now I know why I kept missing out.

Yup. Even Red Wing eventually came back in stock and hung around for a while.

It's the same meltdown happening in the Gigawatt thread.

Just as an FYI, any automated process that contacts you when something comes in stock is going to lag behind anyone who's manually monitoring the page as well as any bots scrapping the page for a chance to buy the product. Those monitoring systems can be fast, but they're not instant.

To put it bluntly, the same process Target's automation uses to detect an item is in stock and send you a notification can be replicated by a bot that scrapes the page and orders the item.
