Ya know, I just was wondering about a new animation-style Starscream while watching TFTM last night...hell, they could include his coronation outfit and call it a 35th anniversary special.

I really need to do that mod to my detolfs.

As for a new MP seeker mold, is anyone shocked? The MP11 mold didnt age well at all.

WTH.  How many seekers do we need?  Yes, Starscream 2.0 has terrible articulation and a horrible backpack.  But I am not convinced they won\'t make a fiddly mess out of this.  Happy with my MakeToy version.

Yeah... I used to have a real downer on 3rd party stuff - I used to go on about it being IP theft, not the same standard, how dare they etc etc. But over time I came to realise that there are certain characters (Jazz is obviously the standout) that they simply can't do because they'll never get the licence. On top of that, there were all these Beast Wars characters coming in, then TT redid Prime, then Bumblebee... I realised that if I waited for official versions for the 84-85 cast, I'll be collecting into the 2030s and beyond.

So I got Downbeat - and one thing led to another, and now I'm nearly there with the whole cast, and I couldn't be happier.

I actually love the silhouette tease. Reminds me of the Hasui twitter days!

If it's epic I'll be waiting and buying the inevitable Skywarp repaint and this as well, of course. Now time to sell off that MP-11, God, I hate that figure!

Agree with most that the silhouette does look really nice ! I mean obviously I’m getting this . We knew he was coming since V3 OP. An let’s face it , V2 is nice , but far from what Takara has been doing with the super toon accuracy / articulation. Hopefully the price isn’t to insane .

I bought the walmart one. Hated it.

Then I bought 2.0 and liked it. I even got the KFC hands for it.

    But no, not a 3.0.

I can't afford to keep replacing expensive pieces in my collection every few years.

Call me when TT does something other than 84/85/86.

I'm going to guess he'll be about $300. It would have to be a significant evolution, for me to consider rebuying my seekers.

Hmmm. There’s only a handful of figures I still want to get for my shelves, and MP G2 Starscream and G2 Ramjet are in the list (the rest are G2 Jazz, Red Mirage and a Hound that doesn’t break).

Maybe a new Seeker mood could mean new repaint possibilities. :)

biggest gripe I had with the MP-11 version was the lack of a lock for the torso in bot mode, so as long as a new version doesn’t fall apart and they fix that, I’m interested.

I'm taking it he's going to be revealed in Figure King, hence the silhouette, unless hes revealed their "show" first.

I've been wondering if there would be anything to look forward to in this line honestly. I'm in for a 3.0 Starscream but will likely not replace my Skywarp and Thundercracker unless I magically become independently wealthy.

The shoulders coming apart on MP 11 any time the arms are moved made Starscream the one MP I wanted them to do over.
But the line has shifted away from my interests since then, and frankly MP 11 shouldn't have had those issues in the first place.
