Nah, this was for Tyrant (Megatron), the parts you're referencing were for Dubhe (Tarn). As far as I know, Tyrant didnt have a fix. I didnt ask since everyone back then just said it would hurt anything, so I just left it

But if anyone did get a part or fix please let me know

i dont want to come off as a jerk or anything. but if it is still strong enough to hold his cannon up.

i dont see the problem but if it does bother you just try some future. that will tighten it up with just a few drops.

After seeing Takara's Super Megatron reveal... I was thinking how amazing it'd be if Iron Factory were to create an upgrade kit for Tyrant to give him Super and Ultra Tyrant modes...

From 3x release. IF start to have abs crunch. But i see all the review and this one seem like don't have one.
Despite i don't see any thing get in the way. Why no abs crunch ? Well, i don't have it but that just what i see. But anyone know why ?

No, not at all. Not as standard.

The reasons for it are in the minds of the designers, and that's that.

Tyrant kinda came out of nowhere, he was name checked way back via their Wing Of Tyrant releases so was likely in development under wraps for a long time. So if it helps you argue the case that the lack of ab crunch is as a result of when that development time began, be my guest. But as Evil Lord - a 2015 release - had that articulation point, that's really not the case.

I might venture that the high parts count of this set has something to do with it too. But we're reaching here.

Ab crunch isn't a necessity. Just because a figure could have it doesn't mean it will have it.

I've had the KO version of him for 2 years and never realized it had ab-crunch and a waist swivel. Thanks, friend!

of course not everyone get the abs crunch. But start form the 3x figure, they have this new articulation. I mean IF start do develop this new articulation from the 3x onward, they didn't have it before. Of course depend on the design, transformation, etc... it may not possible in every character. That why in the case of Tyrant, i ask why since its seem like have nothing get in the way.

The Evil lord one doesn't look like the same articulation from IF's new one. The new articulation is in the hip. While Evil lord's is the up there on the chest. And it kinda look like a human character figure joint. Maybe since he whole truck body didn't change during the transformation, that why IF can give him that crunch.

Well, i don't get why anyone would go out of their way to not give them more ? If they could

One for the design team then innit, chief. And since none of us are on said team, all we can do is theorise. I would wager it's a cost thing given Tyrant's high parts count, as I speculated in my initial reply. You might get an answer on their weibo.

    They're not Mattel, mate.

For TFs, artic is always going to be a secondary priority to the TFing mechanism; then mold costs come into consideration; *then* the whims of the designer wanting such-n-such artic point. And only as those considerations exist at the time of go/no-go decision for the overall project; which includes other variables unrelated to the TF design.

Uhm.. I think you kinda miss the entire point here. the comment talking about when they could. So the priority is not reverent here.
Well, let me be clear first, The reason i ask in the specific figure because i want to find the answer of the the said case, because people who own this figure may have the better look of the issue.

'Could' is an extremely wide variable. 'Engineering-could' is a different decision point than 'Financing-could'. We likely meant different coulds.

That why i curious to find out why. Why some just try to explain in a "doesn't mean it's must...". I mean we all know that, just curious. And if you just don't have the answer, that's fine.

As for the financing. The abs crunch cost one more plastic part. IF's crunch joint actually small and don't take much space, With the abs crunch + rotation or with only rotation, they take the same space. So it won't require a lot creativeness to fix, probably.
And IF have more pricey figure. With a character like Megatron, and you have 4 version in one. I imagine the original price is the same price as Jetfire, i think no one will question about it

Any accessory requests for this guy?

I'll be working on thigh extensions to bump up his height for another board member, and will have the figure in hand for a couple days. It's not one I own, so if there's some popular add-on ideas it'd be easier for me to cook up while he's here.

Well, he sort of has one already as The Fallen is based on this mold. I don’t think he’ll get any straight repaints.

Ugh, found this thread AFTER I just order a Tyrant. Now I'm wondering if he's going to have the joint cracks when he shows up. :(

hopefully he wont. but if he does i wouldn't be too concerned over it. i am sure most of us IF guys have the same situation going on with megs. i for one have no complaints or worries for the bot. and it has been about a year and whatever since i bought him.

maybe they have engineered that flaw out of his shoulders by now. if there is anyone out there with the fallen please feel free to chime in on that question.
