First time I’ve been to Target this year and only went since online it said Target had Lysol spray but they were sold out. I found 2 of the Seekers two pack. Pictures look sweet and I definitely want the Coneheads so I bought one of the Seekers two pack. I wasn’t planning on buying it since I have all of the Tetrajets but once I saw it in person, I couldn’t resist.

 

Finally got one online!

 

I just listed Thundercracker on Ebay- I only wanted Skywarp. Anyone want him? I haven't posted enough to add a link yet.

How? Just random check or did you get the in-stock notification from target?

 

I got my copy by staying up until 3'o clock in the morning refreshing the web page where Skywarp and Thundercracker can be purchased over, and over, for 3.5 hours until it became available. It took the time I clicked on all the tabs, about 4 seconds, to purchase the set, and then it was sold out again. Based on my experience, the Earthrise Seekers set becomes available for about 4 seconds every 55-65 minutes between 12:00 am and 4:00 am in the morning, for purchase directly from Target's website to your home.

 

Damn I'm glad I got this in-store.

 

Dumb frickin’ luck. I woke up and had a notification on my phone about an hour old. I went in and got the figures, then they were sold out again. I think I just lucked into the next restock at just the right time.

 

Weird. I don't have in stock notification option in the target app anymore. Android. Any suggestions?

 

They kind of came and went in my area, hopefully they restock.

I think I need to get a second set, I worry about how they are going to hold up over time.

 

Go through a web browser & view full site. You should be able to turn notifications on that way.

 

Thank you. I am able to setup email notification but no push notifications through the app on my phone. Oddly enough this option seems to have disappeared on the app? Anyone else having this issue?

Same here. The app just says "Sorry, this can't be shipped to your zip code" where the notification button should be. I have to go through the site to set it up, and the app will notify me. And yesterday I noticed that there's about a 5 minute difference between the email notification and the app notification.

 

I'm going to need more details on how to set that up through the website. I also added the app and and can't figure out anything beyond the email notifications on the website.

 

If you are logged into your account on both the website and app all you have to do is go to the website and hit the notification button to get the app to notify you. Keep in mind once it goes off you have to hit the notification button again to get the next notification.

For what it's worth the notification is basically useless. I got it in my cart a few times when it went off but never could complete checkout in time. The last time I got one was 2:09 am EST on Friday. After missing that one I logged into Paypal to have it ready and save time. I stayed up until it came in stock again around 2:32/2:33 and finally checked out around 2:34. Around 2:30 I refreshed that page about every 2 to 3 seconds it seemed. It can be done but takes a lot of doing to make it happen. The more you can do to cut time like logging into Paypal if you use it and having multiple pages open such as your cart the better. I recommend using Paypal if you can since it forced me to confirm my card every time and more than once it wouldn't let me put the CCV code in without refreshing the page.

 

I got in on one notification. I have a target card and timed myself. By the time I got to the pay button which was less than 10 seconds it was sold out. The target app and web site is archaic and sad. I really wish they would allow preorders on these items and put a limit on the numbers. Even amazon allows preorders on exclusives.

 

Target RED card is fastest. All I had to do is click ship it, click view cart and checkout, click I am ready to checkout, confirm shipping address/ save and continue (two clicks), click review order and finally process. Using the RED card skips all those payment confirmations.
DO NOT DISMAY keep at it and you will get one. I enjoy "mining" the website and getting a toy snatched at the very end now. It really keeps the excitement going, almost as good as getting one off the store shelf. This early in the game there are many many many more cases for Target to open and offer for shipment. Don't give up.

What I have noticed (Central time)

Emails come to my inbox at 3 -3:34AM, 5-8AM, 10AM-12PM.
--Product is ALWAYS available about 2 to 5 minutes before emails are sent.
--My successful Purchase confirmation email came 1 minute before the product back in-stock email came, exactly 1 minute.
--Some emails are delayed so others get an email quickly but no email will help you in the beginning demand period.
--I noticed about 3 to 5 notices coming per day. Once past noon I don't believe I received any more for that day.
--I had only a few very early emails (3 AM, 4:40 and 5 AM)
--Most are from 6 to 8 am
--Maybe 2 in the 10 to 12 block usually one at 10 something and one nearly at noon (before they break for lunch and unload other stock I assume).

Others may have noticed different things, but this is what I have observed to be the case.

 

No one should have to do all this for two toys.

 

Damn, that's a bit excessive. After all of that, glad you got one though. I don't have the time or patients. Paid that BS $100 resell on them and saved myself the headache. They should be here tomorrow.
