Yup. Still doesn't negatively effect the toy, therefore I don't give a damn.
Never did. Even when I learned this.

exactly. It doesn’t hinder the figure what so ever. I’ve had him since he was released a year ago and it’s something I forgot once it was mentioned and only when someone brings it up do I remember. It’s literally nothing but people tend to blow up about it.

It looks bad that Hasbro did not correct this on the second run of this mold. It gives me the impression they don’t care about the products they release. See Titans Return Kup.

they’ve spent the last 15 years remaking almost the entire 1984-1987 transformers line for 30+ adults who never grew up and still play with toys. They care.

It’s a fluke that happened with the assembly. Something no one caught except fans who spend way too much time staring at photos on the internet and decided to treat it like the toy is broken. Doesn’t hinder the figure in any way. As for Kup? Takara’s was the same but again, it also doesn’t affect the toy. I own both TR and a Legends and when it was revealed there was an apparent assembly error I said “oh? Well I’ve had the toy for months and never noticed so who cares?” Still playing with my Kup, still don’t care

Well the elbow joints would be perpendicular to the ground, and so wouldn't bend under the weight of Devastator. I don't imagine it would be that much of an issue

I just realized it's impossible to call Skipjack a repaint. The paint is exactly the same on both versions.

Only the main plastic colour is different; everything else is the same.

    Variant, maybe?

I've seen redeco thrown around a lot for plastic color changes.
And now that you know about it, so will you. That's called the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon.

    Respectfully disagree with this.
In hand I find Overload a tonne of fun and one of my favourite constructicons.

Due to some very flexible ankle and shoulders you can get some crazy stance. Just like most of the set he lacks waist rotation but even without it however you pose it brings a tonne of bad-ass attitude.

My daughter keeps putting him in to a 'dabbing' pose (I have a display cabinet next to her home-school desk) while he still looks menacing at the same time.

Sarcasm doesn’t really convey through the internet. But it’s all good.
