ShowZ is a reputable store. You should direct your questions to them directly at their site, they are quite responsive.

 

I recommend Showz. For one, you save a ton of money. They also let you preorder it at 5 bucks now and then pay the rest of it on release. I've never had issues with them before and they've always taken care of any issues I've had with a figure. Just be prepared to wait a bit.

Also to note, TFSource bullies sites like Showz into increasing prices, so I will always recommend less money going to that site. They are pretty scummy behind the scenes.

 

I've only ever had one "issue" with ShowZ. Wasn't even their fault. Shipping company sent my package to the wrong address. Like different country wrong. ShowZ just sent me the figure a bit later. I will always recommend them.

Well I always wanted this set. Guess I'll be jumping in too. I'd rather have the original colors but at that price I don't care.

If you don't care about speed, or being able to track the shipping of your purchase... and price matters more than anything else, Show.Z is a decent pick.

Show-Z is good to go. I was getting thing from them in about 2 weeks here in Indiana before the virus. Most of the wait now is shipping problems here in the states. From China to the states still only took about a week to a week and a half. It took almost 3 weeks to get to me once it hit the states. Not really Show-Z's fault. I am still buying from them only if I can. Plus if you sign up to be a premium member you three times points for your purchases. I paid for my Fans Toys Magnum almost entirely with points. Also, tracking numbers have all worked for me except for the one on my Zeta Toys Blitzkrieg, and I just contacted them today about it.

I have the original set minus some things:
No boxes or instructions
Missing the elbow clamp for dragstrip
New leg supports installed
Missing old leg supports
Slight damage to the front of breakdown
All other combiner parts, guns and swords are accounted for

I purchased these guys second hand knowing the condition of them and I haven't had any other issues.

Pre-ordered from Show.Z. Baba has it for $5 cheaper but with the deposit discount at Show.Z it comes out the same. Plus if I want to I can upgrade to express shipping.

Menasor was absolutely last on my list for my collection but the chrome finally motivated me to buy. He'll just stay in combined mode in the closet anyway.

 

Not sure if it’s been brought up yet but I was thinking fingerprints might be a problem on this metallic version.

 

Blah! Just checked my preorder at showz and the price is good but the express shipping option to Canada is $216.... Or I can use the wait and see shipping.... ugh...

Update on this. Contacted bababobo again and they said they haven't heard about getting more stock (for the regular version) so they offered me a refund.

 

Oh that was fast. Does Showz usually honor lower price even if you only did a deposit with the lower price preorder?

 

As far as I know yes. I have the lower price in my “pay balance” option. Just need a cheaper shipping option to Canada now...

That’s because the price for shipping is higher than last year, so I assume these other retailers are hedging their bets. Tfs express price doesn’t include shipping so total cost is still higher than some other places. Shipping to US is $155 for example.

 

Yes you’re probably right. Shipping costs and customs are a major factor here

 

I daren't buy this. Within a few minutes it'd have so many scratch marks on it you'd think it'd been attacked by a Velociraptor. I hope they reissue it in non-chrome at some point.
