An Elita One is coming as part of the Netflix line, we have the listing for it, but she will be a repaint of Chromia judging off of the characters show-design(all of the designs were made as close to the figures as possible.)

Chromias Design is nothing like Elitas though going off the figure designs.

Her back pack splits for a start and the big roof panel doesnt stick up.

I would argue it has more to do with ER Arcee being a mediocre mold with tits in a wave of mediocre molds.

That really looks a lot more like the ER Arcee mold, new head and paint and job done I fear.

I've seen pictures of the T30 Arcee, and was even wishing to get one as some point, I wasn't a huge fan of a few things, the face mold, lipstick and did find the thighs to be a bit heavy, but never had I noticed the small pot-belly and navel...?!

Dang.... that's just....no... now she looks like a 4 month pregnant trailer teenager wearing a tong bikini trying to rock "the look".

The Blur repaint... I don't recall seeing that one. That's actually not bad.

But now I'm really looking forward to the ER version, even if she has the whole car as a backpack.. :p

Either way, I'm curious to see..

The Netflix series is really being a strange thing, where they are blending the figures from both Siege and ER, but I wonder if they'll end up touching on the 3rd part of the trilogy too and we'll end up with a very different repaint between them.

I don't think that Hasbro has ever done something like this. Kinda interesting but also a bummer as takes away from the main line in a way, but at the same cool for the recolours that some like Megatron that ends up with a better paint, and a "preview" on other figures that we've yet to see.

    Weird times...

Scorponok is great! His greatness really makes Fortress Maximus flaws more apparent, while posing Scorponok, he is solid, poses like a Leader, Fortress Maximus however buckles under his own weight and cant really stand in dynamic poses on his own 20200702_141130.jpg 20200702_140049.jpg 20200702_140957.jpg 20200702_123707.jpg 20200702_124445.jpg 20200702_125342.jpg

Scorponok is standing on his own, FM is being held up by the wall in one scene and in the other, Scorponok is literally holding him up.

The piss-poor feet design on Fortress Max is the worst part of him, no question about that. That and the legs being useless for base mode are my two biggest peeves about this figure.

The 3rd party add-on to help with his feet is expensive as heck and rare to find and look like huge badly conceived sandals/boots or something.. but as least he gets some tilt with them.

One could say that T30 Arcee is shaped like a female human, while Earthrise Arcee is shaped more like a magazine pin-up.

I may base my buying decision on whether ER Arcee is redecoed as another character I don't have, as I have several Arcees (including TR and T30). Same for the Cyberverse Arcee.

Well.. over-humanized robots doesn't do it for me all that much... ER at least is "squarer" and of course "humanoid female" inspired...

Belly buttons and pot bellies, lipstick, etc. for a robot is seriously over the top in my book.

I have and love RiD marked Windblade which while "humanoid female" inspired, is a very solid robot form that should it be piloted, any pilot would just call it "his lady"... like many do with their cars now.

I will buy the entire wave 2. The artworks are very nice!
Arcee : nice. The partforming is not an issue for me. The hoverboard, even if it is a bit lazy, is a good idea.
Airwave: Very nice. Even if he reuse some joints from Brunt, he is still a new mold to me.
Allicon: Very nice too. I have no problem with the apparent beast arms: after all, Grimlock itself has his t-rex arms apparent in his back when in bot mode.
Smokescreen: Nice except the toonish head BUT it is a minor issue to me.

It's tough to tell because those models seem stylized compared to the models in show.

But I'm pretty sure you can see the wheels behind the flaps on Elita's pic. She's probably a retool/repaint of someone, everything in the Netflix line been so far.

eh, looks 80-90% as good as ER and doesn’t have to throw away 1/2 the vehicle mode to achieve it, And the ER car mode is just bizarrely awful, it looks more like something you’d find in a soap dish with G1 Scourge then a car.

T30 Arcee's bot mode "doesn't have to throw away 1/2 the vehicle mode to achieve it" because the designers compromised by leaving 1/4 of the vehicle mode off in the first place. Her car mode is literally "exposed legs down both sides of the car" and not accurate to any model.
And yes, I own the T30 (actually, I own the Takara version) and like it for what it is, it was the best version of Arcee up to that time.
T30 and ER have differences that appeal to different people more. Personally I like the bot mode of ER better. ER has much better articulation. Other people prefer the look of T30.
With a figure like Arcee, Hasbro/Takara just can't win. There is no way to make a Barbie doll bot mode without some form of shellforming or partsforming.

Yes, it looks better than that. But saying it looks better than absolute shit doesn't mean it looks good.
