Huh, the double-handed one is more iconic. Pretty sure the figure has the articulatuon to hold it too by virtue of the shoulders transformation joint.

 

This looks cool, but rather have an updated posable mace/Flail for this Megatron.

 

 

I'm hoping DNA Designs releases a kit for him that gives him a new mace and the two-handed cannon.

 

It seems as though they were basing it on the ROTF crab claw gun. If they are gonna make up a gun, make it a G1 style fusion cannon. I would enjoy that quite a bit.

 

YEP! I saw it. right when he first shoots jazz. It did have a jagged looking mouth to the gun. Maybe there is a CG Model from the movie somewhere online, or in a book?

 

Nah, that’s the small version of the fusion cannon that the MPM includes.

 

If this was a cheap thing ie no led, I'd pick it up. Not accurate but it matches the movie 1 design more than a straight up claw would; even though it's integrated the MPM cannon looks like a handheld pistol. not at all integrated or matching the aesthetic of the rest of the arm. This made up one looks like the two-armed one if it was one armed, or the ROTF one with the same level of monster removed from that to movie 1's robot mode.

Hoping for the two-armed cannon because of presumed price but otherwise

I'm not sure something that has slightly over 3 seconds of screen time in one movie in a multi-movie series should be called iconic.
