And there's already a listing on Amazon. If this thing is going to be on Pulse and Amazon it's likely going to be saturating the market. Ectotron sold like hot cakes and is still available through many outlets today. BttF is right on par with that in terms of popularity among the current audience for these types of things so Hasbro isn't going to suddenly make this thing super rare. They'd be leaving money on the table.

 

Anyone who sells their preordered item from Walmart before having it in hand is setting themselves and their customer up for disappointment. Just ask anyone who tried getting Kenner Classics Real Ghostbusters figures. Walmart is complete trash when it comes to distributing collectibles.

 

i do feel bad that hasbro is getting the blame for this drop but its honestly walmart that did such an awful job handling it. I hope that they realize they can easily make it up by having the regular version go up for pre order on hasbro pulse tomorrow or monday. Hopefully they do.

I only ever saw the one in a physical store. Choosing not to get them online is a personal preference, but you also can’t complain if you didn’t get something that was readily available online for at least a month.

UHH, yeah, I do, especially when they work at a TOY COMPANY and this is their FUCKING JOB!!!   edit again: I actually work in a similar capacity and release exclusive items through my company, and this kind of shit is beyond basic--even if people try to say it's all Wal-Mart's fault, and Hasbro couldn't do anything, again in my company's case, we would confirm with the retailer MULTIPLE times WEEKS in advance to try to make sure they know EXACTLY when to start preorders. Even if it was a technical difficulty, 30 min to an hour tops is all it should take to fix it, I waited 4 hours and saw NOTHING.
