Hover wheels maybe, Mr. Fusion, nope.



You see that white thing sticking up in the back on the bottom 2. That's Mr. Fusion. If you look at the vehicle mode of the Transformer that's not there. They also wouldn't bother to give him that poll with the hook and Mr. Fusion since it never had both of those details at the same time.

That's purely speculation on my part. They just said it would be a variant, they didn't say WHAT variant.

The 25th anniversary logo shows the hover wheels but the toy itself clearly is modeled on the first movie. As I pointed out in the above image, Mr. Fusion is not there and have yet to see if the wheels can be folded up.

It's there in some pics. It comes off and plugs into the back of the rifle.

I have to say, whomever came up with the decision to limit the purchase amount to 12 on a figure that had a limited availability of 1,985 either needs a good talking to or needs to be slapped around.

I guess the bright side here is that this isn’t a limited run. However, it sucks that I’m going to have to wait three months to order this figure. I don’t think it can be overstated at just how terribly managed this entire thing was.

 

Also, I guarantee some reviewers will pay way too much so they get the first copy.

 

I just want to drop in and say Walmart has been terrible about exclusives. It's been one debacle after another and this is just another entry. It's so bad that the normally "cheerful about everything" Pixel Dan did a video rant about how bad they are. Basically just seems like toy makers need these big stores but the big stores don't need them. So we will continue to see this happen.

 

It has the pole with hook and the Mr. Fusion. And the hover wheels.

 

Contact ebay and tell them it's in violation. I have.

 

Maybe it was just an innocent mistake. Just like they meant to type in the number 1 for the time it was to be available!

 

No one is being forced to pay the price on eBay... I'm choosing not to. You can too.
