Is everyone still getting the Sorry... page? Did they switch the web address for the item?

 

it was up for a moment, two people here got the thing in their carts, the rest of us got errors. then the page went down again.

 

slag it. I'll get the next run when it comes out. Hopefully BBTS will be one of the "other" retailers. Less $$ going to Walmart the better for me.

It was up for three minutes? Five? Ten?

If they do, in fact, get offloaded to eBay, blame the first person to drop $200 on it. That will set the standard for re-sale. Don't be that person.

 

I wouldn't worry. You have only missed out on a sticker it *(and being super duper cool) it appears so far. I am sure they will glut the market with them and possibly lower the price by $5 USD just like the ghostbuster's mash up was price dropped on its second release. I totally made a muppet disappointment face when I saw it for $7 less on BBTS.

 

Why would they be on eBay already? It's supposed to release on october

I was sitting there hitting refresh every 5 seconds for 15 minutes. Got up to get a glass of water during the 30 seconds and missed it. I don't think there were that many bots. Just people refreshing and buying multiples.

 

from what i've seen, preorder scalpers post their listings as soon as their order is *confirmed*. they post in the listings that the item won't be available to ship until later.

Because people sell pre-orders on ebay all the time. It happens every year with Con exclusives, why not this?

 

Its slightly upsized. The description says 5.5 inches scale. The wood pannel that gift card is sitting on is exactly 5.5 inches. So its a big ass car. They are probally keeping scale with the crossover line. Remember Ecto-1 was a herse way bigger than a Delorean. And we saw the Top Gun Jet in the box was huge almost Jetfire size. Its safe to say the crossover line is MP scale in terms of real life vehicles in my opinion.
