That’s a bummer - that windcharger’s car mode looks amazing too! Love the idea for the head :)

A joe legolike range would be pretty cool! Silent castle and all. Actually, didn’t it end up a transformer of something weird in that g2 era crossover?

Makes sense. There's only an axe and a new gun he needs anyway and the official box covers it. The trailer pimp is where it's at.

Absolutely bang on Business Sense decision to be sure, though I do wish he'd take/n the punt going a little retro on the TR Overlord kit he ditched.

Just looking at my Marvel Legends, they really need generic goons... Three that Daredevil or Spidey could take down all at once, for instance. Could be done as a BAF so the parts are swappable and encourage army building.

OK maybe not super shiny reflective silver, but the one I see parked on a driveway fairly often doesn't look like it's had a texture Photoshopped over it to disguise Hasbro's usual bland grey plastic.

Did I ever think of a BTTF crossover as a kid? No, because whilst I enjoyed the BTTF movies, they never came close to forming the same lasting opinion on young me the way Star Wars did, back then everything was a distant second, including Transformers.

So whilst I love the concept, I think the execution could be much better.

Paint the thing properly & add whatever to the price because the main intrest will be from adults who were kids in the 80's and it'd still sell.

I agree with the spirit of what you're saying, I think they could spend more on it and make it a classier item and it would do very well. Although I wouldn't be surprised if they charge $40-50 for it because dual licenses.

As a kid, BTTF was just a movie, whereas Star Wars and Transformerd were everything. As I've gotten older I've come to appreciate BTTF more and more.

I wonder if that's because Bob and Rob refuse to allow any more sequels to be made. Just some comics and a video game (and a defunct ride and a shit cartoon), whereas SW and TF and everything else have been rebooted and revisited loads and loads.

That Delorean Bot would be perfect if they hadn’t made the windscreen out of an airfix kit.

There'll be a sticker for that but the 1,985 first run? That's for Suckers (& Scalpers)!

I think I've got EARTHWORKS mining station mode figured out, and it's got the jetty/harbour/pier station beat (IMHO)!
    DSC_0046.JPG DSC_0048.JPG DSC_0049.JPG DSC_0050.JPG
It's pretty much his tower mode taken down a floor, twisted about a bit, and widened for it to form a mining & ore processing station, with shovel crane, drilling station, and (hard to see in the harsh lighting heavy contrast) his thighs popped out 45° as faux crucibles for the dug ore. Very chuffed with this one, lads.
Yeah, I really DIG it! (Fnar Fnar!)
Maybe because I get an odd "Johnny Five" feel from it?
    Is that just me?

And (terrible pun now out of the way) in the course of it I realised there's actually a way to give Greasepit something a wee bit closer to HIS OG1 tower base mode!
    DSC_0051.JPG DSC_0052.JPG
    DSC_0053.JPG DSC_0054.JPG
Yeah, he'll end up shorter than Ironworks' BUT his weapons layout is much more like the original base.
You can construct the shorter tower base with the shovel to the front but, particularly for Greasepit, that little posing platform is right in line with and blocks the popped out thighs now serving as cannons, or, if raised out the way to clear them will strand any figure in the shovel platform right in front of the top turret in harm's way, unless you rock it back to a rather silly upwards tilt.
Do with this info what ye will!

Okay, somehow I'm assembling a "dark" version of the 2007 Autobots and I didn't even know! I got Optimus, Ratchet and Bumblebee done, with a figure for Jazz (Smokescreen redeco) in my mind. I can't seem to figure out a figure to repurpose as Dark Ironhide however, because believe it or not his movie figures have never ever been re-decoed into another character? So, any suggestion for a darker Ironhide? Was planning on using either the Cannon Force figure or the TFP Swerve fig.

If you can find him for less than obscene prices, Recon Ironhide is a very lovely figure.

Speaking of making a character darker...

How much was Ectotron originally? I see it going for upwards of £50 now.

No more BTTF is a bold move but one I welcome because not everything needs to be a franchise along the lines of the MCU and with very few exceptions I ignore reboots, reimaginings or continuations of old properties because most of them do nothing except tick a checklist of Easter Eggs from the originals and seem to get by on that without actually adding anything significantly new.

I get the money making part of it but in most cases I don't care about stories being continued, even with Star Wars which was why I stopped at The Force Awakens.

Telling new stories with new characters is more likely to intrest me, as it has with The Mandalorian. The Obi-Wan series may have a character who's very familiar but the desert years part of his story is potentially very intresting, I might even get to learn about what happened with the Jedi and that Anakin fella ;)

Aside from the obvious I would also like to see an episode where he gets drunk, steals a Sandcrawler and accidentally flattens a moisture farm but uses a mind trick to convince everybody nothing happened :D

    @Seeaich,
Your sorcery with various dyes is having some great results, really like what you've done with Ironworks!

That's nonsense. Into Darkness failed because it was a bunch of half-ideas slammed together. Khan, Peter Weller's character whose motivation I can't even remember never mind his name, 'the new girl' who was written even worse... They went nowhere fast.

Didn't even watch 3 because it looked like an action movie that happened to star Kirk. And a 90s direct to video sci-fi action movie at that where the budget went on two big scenes or something.

Out of all three of those movies three is the the best. That’s not saying much though:lol  Into Dullness was just pointless, and the novelty of the first one wore off quickly for me.

I liked the first as a set-up movie, the crew were all individuals and still clicked. 2 didn't need to exist, and I doubt I'll ever watch 3 because it's all due a reboot anyway.

JJ is fucking hopeless. Movies only succeed despite him is the honest truth of it.

Hey guys, weird question (as per usual!)

Can anyone tell me how long Siege Prime's gun is, please? I found Matrix Workshop are selling these (see pic) and trying to figure out which is the best fit for MP-10v (Mini Masterpiece Prime, who is about a head taller than Siege Prime)

Will have to 'hack' the peg to make it fit (stupid MP hands) but it'll be worth it to finally have a respectable gun on the guy!
