I'm not blown away but I still like it well enough to get it. I like the flux capacitor on his chest in robot mode, that's a nice touch.

 

Well, that’s kind of anticlimactic. Nice vehicle mode...bot seems like it could use work. I was kind of hoping for a Prowl/Bluestreak/Smokescreen type mold.

 

Is there a link for this? (I know it's not up yet)

 

So what franchises have anniversaries next year?

The lack of silver paint and that front windshield in alt mode are real bummers. Aside from that it’s a pretty nice figure. Great use of the Sideswipe mold and the sculpt in alt mode looks fantastic.

 

So... why does he have an Optimus Prime gun?
Also that windscreen..... 


But I love this. Might have to paint this fellow with a cell-shaded aesthetic and do that windscreen up right.....

Hasbro really should have put in a nice paint job and windshield coloring for this figure. This might be the first TF for some folks and you gotta reel them in with a nice product.

I'm not gonna start collecting these crossover figures but I think its great that Hasbro is making them. It's really a great way to introduce the brand to new fans.

 

Is that Mr. Fusion on the back of the gun?

 

It's not, that becomes the Mr. Fusion on the back of the car.

I think I love this thing. I was willing to hold off on Ectotron, but this might be my boy.

 

I'm buying it, but was hopeful for something a bit more substantial. Ectotron was a new mold, correct?

I passed on the Ecto-1 TF but I don't think I'll be able to pass on this one. Looks pretty cool overall.

 

Also need a Decepticon version of Biff's car. Ford Ford Super De Luxe 1946 convertible.

Micromasters had a lot of great cars that you don't see anywhere else in the franchise. I don't have any of them and they are not my favorite, and to be honest I totally forgot that a DeLorean had already been made as a Transformer!
