The latest WFC Earthrise incarnation Sky Lynx has been an awesome piece to mess around with. But there's a slight issue with it being kinda wobbly in its base mode.

Since this piece was indeed designed based on the NASA space shuttle, thought it would be a nice homage to complete the look of the set with the extra fuel tank and fuel boosters!

Autobot logo proudly emblazoned on the reverse side! Would have liked to imagine that the Autobots had worked hard together with the NASA team to extend Sky Lynx's range.

In fact, the broad outline of this set was done against a blueprint, so its rather close to form :p

Not content with having this just be a static set, these pieces also transform into a WFC CyberBase compatible supply silo! This allows it to be linked to any other WFC compatible base figures or the rest of the CyberTrack system.

    Autobots, roll out!

The topmost portion of the Main Tank also comes with the option for a three-way hinged roof for additional storage and posing options.

Here's how the joints and the floor plate look like. Dropped a 5mm hole to allow for accessories or display stands to be pegged in too.

like lil Cosmos right over here!

So there we have it - a nice like set to play around with a plethora of mix and match display options. All the better to expand a base display with! SkyLynx_BoosterAddons-17.JPG
(Notice Swerve is actually using the Rivet Gun from earlier on a wing rivet on SkyLynx :p  )

Here's a quick video showing some of the modes/functions and hinge assembly:

Hope you all like this little addition to Sky Lynx. To infinity and beyond (opps, wrong franchise!) =D

This is awesome! Very nice work and thoughtful planning.

Have you considered maybe adding a little connector on the outside of the topmost section cylinder that would allow Thrilling 30 and/or Titans Return Cosmos to connect in saucer mode? Then he can ride along as co-pilot/navigator.

Hehe, I imagine Omega thought Sky Lynx would need to be better armed for deep space missions, and thus lent a hand (or two technically).

Thank you all! It was kinda fun staring at the main tank for way too long imagining how it could transform to enhance base mode setups :)

Hmmmmm, that's an interesting idea and earlier thought to just chuck him inside the main tank for the ride. Maybe some tweaks will come in short order :p

Oh wow, forgot about that. And it's massive too! Gonna research it a little and give it a think :p

Really nice. I wish the 3P "ST Commander (Nuclear Blast)" Optimus Prime's rocket would interact more with mini figures more like yours.

Do you plan on adding any 5mm holes to the rocket, to allow, say, the space shuttle Micromasters (or minicons) to attach?
