Megalopolis is local For me, I discovered them recently and I’ve had only good experiences so far. They’ve had some great sales this summer too.

With Greasepit and Tigertrack, it's possible the extra accessories come from being their own releases. Hasbro may have to keep parts counts down for retail figures in order to balance the overall costs of a given wave. So neither of them could have the bonus accessories if they wanted to fit in a wave somewhere.

Additionally, it's possible Selects figures are a limited run compared to retail figures...so Hasbro can actually strike a better balance between demand/cost.

 

Now I can't unsee Exhaust wearing a mask over his eyes.

 

I think I am going to switch those chest parts, Give iron works the yellow chest, makes him a bit more g1 looking in both base modes. Do wish someone would do a flat yellow piece for a roof or something that i could then put on grease pit but Im willing to give up that yellow roof for the black/gray chest piece of ironworks.

As someone who has never had an interest in purchasing a figure of this character, previously, I find this Exhaust figure to look surprisingly nice!

Better?  

 

Dang, I didn't expect Greasepit to have a different alt mode. Really creative too.

 

You can transform the same way with Ironworks, but you won't have the sign and gas pumps. Ironworks also has the mini ports for the tabs of Greasepit's gas pumps.

The Greasepit instructions do show the tower configuration that was shown in early preview pics of Ironworks. Greasepit does have a stealth fix for Ironwork's warped left forearm port (I fixed mine with a 5mm drill bit, turned by hand until no significant resistance was left), so the tower configuration can actually work.

Can’t wait to see the inevitable upgrade set/s created for Greasepit. I’m hoping someone makes his second gas sign, a new roof/chest, missles, and his radar dish thing. I grabbed the first upgrade set for Ironworks (missile & radar windmill) & while just 2 simple add-ons it improves the tower mode so much

 

For me the armor mode is very interesting. Taking him apart and attaching him to Wheeljack. Looks great. Now lets see who to pick for Grease boi.

 

Anyone seen Greasepit at any Asian or European stores yet?

It does give him a bit of a Snake Eyes vibe!

The thing I'd most love to see is any upgrade that makes him double up as the "Wash & Roll" from the old Marvel issue, Buster Witwickey & the Car Wash of Doom, so he and Siege Ratbat can steal all the fuel!

 

So I was fiddling with G1 parts and Earthrise Ironworks, and the Greasepit GAS station sign has a rectangular tab on the side that fits 5mm(?) sockets perfectly.

Mine from Gerrutcamaro. I checked my Ironworks, has the same tabs for the gasoline pumps as does Greasepit. Interesting that they are the same mold. to the detail. Except for the parts that are different.
