Bad craic brendan, hope today was better for you.

Jesus I'd forgotten completely about that advert. Still love it.

Welcome to the club. It's a shit club of broken pegs and shattered dreams.

Never say never. The fact Bludgeon got his first ever screen time in Cyberverse and the recent RID / one changer figures makes me hopeful his star is on the rise at hasbro towers.

All your life you have been training for this moment.

    ..... I love this name.

FOC jazz what a pretty drab figure. The sideswipe redeco wasn't much better. But what swipe did have was a rocking fucking path blaster.

    Bustin' Roads and things.

And FOC deluxe prime was in my own humble opinion pretty much a downgrade from the superior WFC Optimus. And the FOC Magnus wasn't anything to write home about. But he came with a trouser shatteringly sexual sword.

    @MyTea Boc,
Thanks Brian, I'm feeling about right again now at least in terms of my blood sugar level being safe again and have been trying to relax a bit and chill out before I got to bed...much easier once my folks have gone up as the TV is off, so the stream of negativity ceases for the day.

Been having a look at the site for that 6 inch Sgt Slaughter figure and providing he's the same version of 6 inch scale that Hasbro are using for their Joes I'm inclined to give him a try as he looks really nice, particularly the likeness which captures the superhuman proportions of his chin in fine fashion!

Also got my alt mode party off to a fine start with Toyworld Wheeljack & Exhaust.

I want their MOTU Origins line at least :D

Update - Morbius, Beetle, Venom and Speed Demon now.

    ....

This level of nonsense is why I don't read modern Batman. They've zero idea where they're taking any of it and it won't get any better until they bring in an old skool editor who legit remembers, at least, Knightfall or Hush. Never mind further back. Someone needs to call BS before things get started, they're just green-lighting half-thoughts.

Picked up these two monoliths of copyright infringement at the weekend, at a costly sum of a pound the pair, I actually just wanted the sword.
    DSC_2971.JPG
Looking at Op I decided to have a go at improving him (forgot to take photos though), I spray painted his eyes, head and chest, removed some business around the arms and used the cut off for some weapons.
I still hate it, glad I didn't spend any money doing it...off to the kick out bucket with you!
I am tempted to take Bee's hands off and peg them for CW use but feel a bit bad as he is OAR (OK as robot), so he will go to the box to go too.
Prowl models the cut-offs...I am not over impressed by my work, I might spray the shell of the red one black like I did last time, drilling the barrels made it look a bit off as the inside hole is off to the side.
    DSC_2989.JPG
Note also at the front we have a real and fake Nick Fury, the blue fake can't move his legs, weird to see a comparison like that.

Oh, and I cant resist a Morbot.

I was putting spares to the side yesterday and put a few CW bits in the 'to go' pile......
    ...NO, I WONT DO IT!
I just couldn't, CW spares must stay, you just never know.

    Laters from the cheap seats.

Is that one of your BBTS Bulk Orders? I've just realised I could now make drill tank class Brunt but he seems somewhat spartan on the UK Etailing front!

BTW for anybody not wanting the Sirtoys Shipping but hankering for a Clever Girl and would like her BIG! ShowZ now have a listing for OS POTP Slash.

I've ordered Brunts from them before but these are from Popcultcha in Oz, so there's still the usual customs wankery unfortunately!

They've got Zetars too if you're doing an order... Your average shipping box would hold about 6 deluxes in their boxes and cost £10-15 for shipping (seems to go on dimensions AND weight) before the usual customs BS. So I only order from my wishlist to try and get the most value from each box each time.

Yeah, I wouldn't have bought them at all only I wanted the exclusives you see there and they're the one place selling Soundbarrier separately!

Same with BBTS, only justifiable if there's exclusives, hard to finds, or a sale!

Disney Resetting Star Wars; Erasing Last Jedi

They're gonna have to do something to keep the wider mythos alive at least. They doubled down on mistakes around Leia and then built the rest of the third movie around previous footage of Carrie Fisher. Disastrous.

    Afternoon All,

Definitely looking forward to getting hold of Exhaust. Hopefully not going to be too difficult to source. Something about the Lancia Stratos. Perhaps because of my love for the TR7 (having both cars for scaletric as a kid in 1980/81) and the similarities between the two cars. Actually had that TR7 in those colours/livery for scaletric.

Whilst perusing posts in the Earthrise thread over breakfast, Sixshot666666 and TheKup52 posted a number of photos on the figure. That white certainly stands out against WJ. Will anyone be putting a Decepticon emblem on him or keeping the merc faction badge?

As much as I'm not a fan of how the Sequel trilogy was handled, both within the films themselves and how Disney themselves handled it, they've made their bed, and now they've got to lie in it. Retconning the films out of mainline canon could set a dangerous precedent in the future, and it feels like another kick in the teeth to anyone who was even somewhat invested in the ST.

Then again, the source doesn't exactly sound impartial in their phrasing, so it's entirely possible it's being blown out of proportion, but still, if you make a trilogy of films that turned out pretty shit because you couldn't commit to any kind of narrative integrity, you shouldn't be able to just sweep it under the rug.

Been so many pre-orders recently I actually wondered if I did one on him and Greasepit, and I'd really like to when we can just so it's done!

The key might be how much of the theme park and merch they expect to sell are built around that last trilogy... I'm not so invested in SW as I am other franchises, so I don't know what to think. Like can it be parked and simply introduce new characters for the next movie?

I'd imagine The Mandalorian and the cartoons are all that's keeping the franchise alive onscreen.

So they want to Days of Future Past star wars now? That does amuse me greatly. To be honest, I'm tired of Star Wars though. They lost too much good will with me with those movies. I liked Force Awakens, and Rise of Skywalker is fast paced and entertaining to sit through, but falls apart completely the second you stop to think about anything going on in that movie. Mandalorian is all I'm interested in seeing, so they can erase all they want.

I will say though, that veil of mirrors sounds a lot more plausible and interesting an escape for Palpatine than 'durrrr, he made clones. Again. Because that's all we can think of now.' Actually, I'm going to take that veil escape as full on canon. And that explosion of him hitting the reactor was actually caused by him going through the veil without the mirrors, which as they say, screwed him up so badly for TROS. Because clones just makes way too many questions anyway. But this being the actual same guy, with the same body he had in Jedi? Yeah, that makes more sense.
