Oh I see. Sorry! I use a handful of the attachments regularly: the cutting head (duh), the small engraving bit, and a couple of the sanding attachments. They're mostly found in the extras kit that I bought to go with my dremel. That had way more than I needed for what I do.

It's Dark of the Moon Day!

9 years ago today, we got the conclusion of the original trilogy and I fell in love with this franchise even more.

Noooooo! My favourite TF movie, and the one I have the least toys of. My SS Collection target was mostly focusing on DotM but most of the DotM characters came out in my no-buying period. I can;t contribute to this one!!!

One of my life regrets is not buying any figures for DOTM when they were new. Stupid me. It would've been nice if I'd gotten the Wreckers (especially Topspin, knowing how SS redid him), Starscream (for my Legends-scale collection), and Murderbee (to worship as part of a cult)

While I never owned a single DOTM toy until 2016 (when I got Deluxe Soundwave) I have strong memories seeing them in stores. For one... DOTM was a pretty huge flop in my country. There was an ACE Hardware store near my late grandma's house (she passed in 2018) that from 2011-2013/14 had a wall of pegs FULL of DOTM Deluxes. Now my memory is a little fuzzy, but I recall the figures I saw through the years like Crankcase, Roadbuster (there was even a row of the orange repaints one time), and Mudflap. Imagine this:

But with Deluxes and the shelf staying that way FOR THREE YEARS.

I wonder what might've been if I'd bought that entire shelf for 50% off. I mean, did ACE expect people to pay full price for a toy that's 3 years old?

I feel you man. I get most of my Transformers when I go abroad. Once I had to go to Thailand twice in 2011-2012 during the height of the DoTM, and the shelves looked exactly like this. And the only thing I got was legends class crowbar..

Leadfoot coming out in October sounds about right assuming Hasbro don't for some reason skip a wave between Wreckers, seeing as Topspin isn't due until July/August

I hope, given who he's sharing this image with, this doesn't mean he'll be some kind of hard-to-find exclusive. Where'd you get this image anyway?

Stay safe man! Fingers crossed for you!
Is that the reprolabels set for SS Barry? Just wondering what the general consensus on that was, because it looks nice and I was thinking of getting it for my own Barry.

Does anyone know if DNA Designs is going to delay their upgrade kits for SS DOTM Optimus Prime and the upgrade kit for SS Sentinel Prime/Blackout/Bumblebee?

the Optimus kit still says it’s expected in June and the other kit still says July.

That’s the Hong Kong release date too... so it might be different in the States.

DOTM is 9 years old?! I can't believe it's been that long. I remember buying a million legion class figures and a few deluxe class figures. The hype was unreal back then. I really wish I could go back in time and re-live the moments. I'll be sure to post some pics later for my favourite transformers movie.

I just got SS Soundwave and Shatter (Jet) and I love them. They're my first SS figures since Grimlock. I don't love transforming Soundwave but I love his bot mode and I have the "movie the best" version to keep in alt mode. Shatter is amazing. I love both modes and the transformation is so much fun. By far one of my favorite jet formers ever, if not my actual favorite. I kind of want to get another one and customize it into a movie style Windblade.

DOTM is 9 years old? Dang, I remember flying to America to catch the midnight premier with some of my online friends. I had managed to avoid all spoilers, my flight had basically been delayed over 12 hours so by the time I turned up, I was pretty much dead on my feet. Went to the hotel room with me mate and we were chatting about movie ironhide (his favourite character) and he nonchalantly says "Its a shame he dies". I was that broken from the flight delays and detours, I just stared at him and threatened/very nearly did kick him out the room for telling me that.

But had a good rest and went to the midnight premier the following night and had a blast. We ended up going to watch it three times over the two weeks I was out there. Fond memories that are partly why it's my favourite of all the movies (yes, including bumblebee and 86 in that) but also, the Chicago battle feels like an absolute war, the soundtrack is outstanding (as it all is), it features NASA, and it give us one of my favourite characters of the entire franchise. Sentinel Prime. This specific version of Sentinel Prime. Who I will love and adore for as long as I watch movies.

And now we're getting these SS toys of DOTM too. Oh happy days! I keep thinking I should get SS Crowbar and TLK Beserker as Crankcase. But it would irk me too much until a Hatchet turns up too.

All that to say, Happy birthday DOTM!
