Looks like they can soon open a Chromia endcap with the netfix ones joining the party.

I'd be down for ditching boxes. I'm going to give it a couple more weeks to see if Netflix Mirage pops up at the two remaining Walmarts to get any Netflix stuff.
Magnus repaint looks meh to me. I like the seige 1.0 model. But if you don't have a Magnus by all means get it. Especially if on sale like some have been getting for $35.

I noticed that some Walmarts around here have received their Voyager restocks. Seeing new Megatron and Hotlink figures up for sale.

 

I’m still looking for the $35 Magnus. As far as I know no Walmarts in my area got Magnus.

 

Not the same, but here in Canada it seems like Voyagers have been perpetually in stock for weeks now. After the first few weeks of never seeing any when I went grocery shopping (both times when I got Megs and Hotlink they were the only one on the shelf when I got there), now it's routine that I go and see at least 5+ of each of those two and the new rarity are the deluxes that aren't Hound or 'Con Mirage.

Also never seen an Ultra Magnus.

 

Do those Walmarts even carry leader class figures at all? That may be the problem. Large cyberverse figures do not count. The ones here that don't carry leader class did not magically carry UM either. There's one Walmart sorta near here that routinely carries leader class and had Netflix UM sit there. Once it went on sale at $35, they all disappeared.

 

I know 2 of them do. I saw the siege Magnus there but didn’t care for the colors.

I like the colors on this one better.

 

Face palm down every time I see this photo since the reminiscence would take over me, sigh... I have never seen so many TFs display on shelves like this since the great TRU went to bankruptcy in NYC. And yet the people over there take it for grant it and let those TFs be left as a shelf warmer. How much I envy you guys, Walmart or whatever that store is, please come to NYC!!

btw anyone who preorder mirage back inlike feb. from walmart.com and got the 6/17 e-mail....did anyone actually get theirs yet or is all the stock being sent to brick and mortar so far?

 

Ok, I've been holding off on going to Walmart to try to find the ones I want of the Netflix figures in-store instead of hoping my preorders don't get cancelled, since I don't have a lot of Walmarts in my area of my city (the nearest one is a "normal" sized one with a nearly non-existent toy section, usually doesn't have any Transformers at all, and the next nearest is a Supercenter which isn't hugely distant, but is far enough away, and enough out of the way of any place I normally go, that it's a bit of a hassle to go there frequently), but today I finally decided to just go to my nearest Supercenter and try to find some of them. I found all the Deluxes except for Scrapface, so I bought Hound and Mirage. Still looking for Scrapface, Hotlink, and Megatron.

Does anyone have any good strategies for being reasonably certain a Walmart will have these without trying to use the online stock-checkers that just don't really work? Is going in the morning usually better? Do Walmarts tend to restock specific things on specific days, and in this situation, is it enough of a factor to ask my Walmart what day they restock so I can check on those days? Is calling the store and asking about it using the item number useful?

 

Walmart tends to stock once and then not restock. For these they got some stock initially then later got a big cardboard display, then some stores got additional voyagers this week.

There's a chance your Walmart will get the voyagers in again in the next few days, if you didn't see leftover Megatrons, but I doubt they'l get the deluxes again unless there's a major restock.

Though, if you didn't see the card board display you might want to go back and look around for it, it may or may not be near the toy section.

When they actually stock its usually overnight, so going early is best, though with Covid that is true for anything, need TP? go early, need hand sanatizer? go early. Need restocked toys? Go early.

 

Go to one of the Walmarts in my town.

 

Mmm, I looked around the toys area, but did not see the cardboard display. If not in the toys area, where would it probably be?

 

There's a chance that they took it down or never set it up and just put the toy right on the shelf.

If I were a wealthy man I would buy up all the Netflix Transformers and mail then to anyone on TFW that wanted them. Alas I am poor.
