My condolences. Yeah, I immediately felt the need to carefully hold that area when adjusting it. For a part that is so mobile and would be moved often, perhaps it should have been made out of stronger material.

 

Thank you. You would ASSUME stronger materials, I sure did. I can fully understand quality control issues, epecially with 3rd party getting pre orders out. All in all, I still love this beast figure and will pose it happily with my collection. Now I just have to convince my 3 year old it's just to look at lol.

 

Bummer....a replacement is the only solution....outside of printing a 3D replacement.

Took me about 20 minutes total from using my calipers, modeling the part and printing it. Its holding a lot better than before considering its PLA. When I get more time, I'll put more fidelity into the print.

I'm probably not the first to make this reference, but God, I would have loved for this thing to include wings.

This time, we could have given RED BULL wings!

 

After messing with various tolerances on re prints, I found one I really like. I'm actually leaning towards keeping the peice white. It kinda fits with overall paint scheme in my opinion. I also cut a few mills off the ratchet spring in the cannon, felt too tight for my comfort.

Okay.. this went from fun to problematic. First attempt to Transform and I think I've got an assembly error.



The hinge component and hip joint for the bull's left leg is wrong because it's lower than the opposite side and won't tab into place.. I have a right hip hinge on the left.

Should I take this up with BBTS or does GT have a customer service plan for the US?

Definitely BBTS, they’ll take care of it. They will likely want to replace the entire figure, although they have on occasion sent me just the parts I needed. That’s rare, though.

 

I'll let them know, thanks. It's not the first time I've asked them for a Third Party issue, my Maketoys Quantron had an issue with an assembly error also and they just sent me a complete arm to replace a misassembled elbow.

 

Speaking from first hand experience; BBTS has always had excellent and responsive customer service for my issues. I bought an SHF Awakening Goku from them that had a cracked wrist peg assembly out of the box. I contacted customer service and immediately sent me a replacement arm. I then realized that I told them the wrong arm (because I'm a dumbass) so I emailed them back, apologized, and requested the correct arm and told them to charge me shipping because of my error. They sent me the correct part next day free of charge.

 

Exact same thing that happened to mine. Had the correct part 3d printed. Look back a few pages. I have extra so if you end up needing one pm me and lmk
