I was very curious to see Amazon link and I figured I'd have found the Optimus figure in that iconic and sad moment but instead grey in the arms is a lot much darker I expected and changed what I istanlty felt looking at him,it gives toy the fell that this is zombie Prime in Dark awakening, the 1986 movie had a lighter colour. And yes is even more similar to a Nemesis,is still a great figures, recreates movie :)  it's just that with a better grey would be perfect.

For 59$ I'll pass on that,I prefer to buy Judge Quintesson as soon as he arrives this summer, and wait for an eventual Shattered Glass Prime version.

True true I was so used to Starscrem lower legs remaining ,hmm now I figure that they could be even used as an accessor to MP Galvatron :D  that I had forgotten there is not just Ghost Starscream ,that remains the iconic one,but also his grey version as Prime .

There is no Earthrise fiction. It is just a toyline.

The 1986 movie is the alternate universe to the War For Cybertron Trilogy universe?

First, questions are not news. It says so in the rules for the news forum. Threads in the news forum should not ask for answers regarding a topic that's already being discussed in another thread. If you have a question, there are other sub-forums for that.

Second, here's the existing thread for "Alternate Universe Optimus Prime":
    Leaked Earthrise Dead Optimus

Third, the current prevalent theory is that while the figure itself is indeed inspired by the animated movie from 1986, its name might be inpired by a scene from Dreamwave's "Armada" comic (issue #14, the first part of "World's Collide", published in 2003) in which the Armada Autobots discovered a dead Optimus Prime from another universe.

Yes. Wfc IS NOT g1, it is an alternate version of the events. Therefore sunbow g1 is an alternate universe from sunbow g1

Not quite, no. The G1 cartoon and comics take place in different universes, but are a part of what is considered the G1 “continuity” you can think of it as a cluster of universes that all follow the same particular train of events. G2 was technically a continuation of the comics(as that was the only fiction it had). Beast Wars, Beast Machines, what is generally called the “Beast Era” also takes place within G1 continuity. Not exactly in the same universe as the cartoon, nor the comics. But within the same continuity.
That was kinda the whole plot of the show. The Megatron of that era(different guy) went back in time to enact a contingency plan/order given by the original Megatron in the event of the Decepticons losing the war. The Ravage that appeared in the series straight up is the same exact character from the G1 Era that had survived up that point.

Transformers was never technically rebooted until the arrival of Robots in Disguise(2001), which was actually considered part of G1 canon by Takara, taking place during a period when the main group of Cybertronians had left Earth.(It can be confusing.)
This is very basic and true explanation. When one is to begin understanding the Multiverse, one must realize for every universe that exists, there are several other universes that are almost completely identical, but with little variations. It’s not just “ G1, UT, Movie, PRID etc.” There are an incomprehensible amount of universes throughout the Multiverse, and when it comes to Transformers, we like to group them by the Continuity they align with. So WFC is G1, but not the same universe as the cartoon or the comics. But right now, it is considered to be the “main” universe by Hasbro because it’s what their toyline takes place in. Likewise, the Alternate Optimus likely isn’t from the cartoon universe, and is just from another universe within the G1 Continuity. Most likely sent to the WFC universe to warn them of Unicron’s coming(because there is only one Unicron throughout the Multiverse, who travels from universe to universe, but that is in and out of canon for a while.) This is what happened in @Nevermore’s post.

Seemingly, yeah. The Netflix show will presumably cover dimension-hopping to include the cast of the show getting a glimpse of Prime dying in the movie.
At least, that’s what some theorists on the forum think.

One note, multiversal singularities are no longer a canon thing as of funpubs shrouding storyline where the universes were definitively made separate. This is why the 13 has a different roster depending on the universe. So there is no longer only 1 unicron and primus but a separate one for each universe

Thats why I added that bit at the end. I always hated that retcon, because I feel it was Funpub trying to “fix” one of the best things they helped establish. Personally, I wish it would be retconned back again because it adds much more weight to the whole origin story.

But when it came to Funpub anyways... some of their fiction was good, some of it... not so good. The Botcon 2016 retcon comic was just the dumbest thing ever.

also EYYYYYYYY! you changed your name.

Botcon 2016 was garbage, 2006 was a much better prequel

personally I liked the singularities, but it did tend to cause problems, like shattered glass alpha trion being evil when he was supposed to be the same guy as g1. And even in marvel g1, hook, line and sinker make it clear that each universe has its own unicron

and yep, changed it about 2 weeks ago

All my “No” on that one personally. I usually am not a fan of FunPub’s fiction, but the “Multiversal Singularity” thing was definitely up there as one of their worst story ideas (That and the entirety of the fiction surrounding Predacus). It didn’t make any sense at all but far worse of all it was extremely restricting when it came to story-telling. Retconning the hell out of existence was a great choice. Even though, let’s be 100% honest, no writers except FunPub’s gave a slightest shit about it. It mostly was retconned because every writer worth a damn wasn’t considering it in their story-telling, especially not the more mainstream Transformers comics, so FunPub had to backtrack and retcon it in order to try and help their own stories line up more with the rest of TF canon.

Yeah, I know it would only go on to be ignored by future writers, but I felt like it could have added more weight and originality to the Transformers Genesis. Oh well.

Really? Didn’t realize it until this morning. Funny you go from a Tiger to a Wolf.
    To each their own.

It occurred to me this morning that this Prime would display well with some Earthrise Quintesson Judges for a "Dark Awakening" shelf! The sculpt is perfect and I don't mind the color! He should have been desaturated in the episode to match the movie anyway!
