If he had a new head, I wouldn’t have hesitated. As it stands, I held off for now. Maybe that was a test shot and the real one will have the new head. Probably not, though. My worry is that if he doesn’t sell well, they’ll take it as a sign that “obscure European characters don’t sell” instead of “characters without at least a proper head don’t sell”.

Fortunately those times are long behind us. Or so we thought.

 

Rotorstorm's a bit D-list to be getting a new mold an extensive remold a new head a toy, but even so, I'm really surprised not really surprised people are complaining.

 

Maybe, I googled what ‘fan channel’ was back when they were releasing the Refraktor 3-pack. Places like BBTS and Forbidden Planet are fan channels for example.

 

I don\'t know if I like the 5mm posts on the emerging cubes or if I hate them.
i guess someone will be holding them, or it will look weird if they are just laying on the ground.

 

Even the Powerdashers got updated and even got new heads..... Rotorstorm should totally have a new head at the minimum.

 

I hate those and Refraktor's. I get that they need to he held, but it looks so doofy. I would've rather had Refraktor's on the side like a Lego camera for minifigures, since that would have a more natural position beside the fist rather than on top. The cubes.. I guess they can balance on two hands like how they carried it in the series? I dunno

 

I'm just having some fun, taking a shot at Rotorstorm (having a shot taken at him is the one and only thing he's famous for, after all).

Yeah - not as cool as some of the Reflektor combinations but there is some things that are possible, nothing stand out - Ironworks seems to have more bonus modes & combinations too, i've started to experiment with mixed parts from different disassembable figures to see what that gets you too. (some pretty decent custom vehicles for a start).

It's kinda strange the way they moulded Spinister's head it's made in two sections and one rotates on top of the other.

I wonder if this is an indication that they no longer automatically include a 2nd head design in moulds, or if there is a 2nd head design and that Rotorstorm isn't it - suggesting this might get another release as someone else too with such a second head included ?

Fold out posts would be OK as would a 5mm hole on the 90 degree off side then they could be plugged together to stack and mounted on posts as well as ports

The colours are pretty Neutral so they should complement a lot of things pretty well when used in armour modes. Also if they ever made an Omega Sentinel they'd complement that pretty well too.

They could have perhaps have considered some sort of Vehicon colour scheme as an option too. I think it would make great generic troopers for brunt to lead too. The accessories kind of have a reason to buy 2 of them at least too (especially if you are a completist).

Not in the official one, though nonnefs has titanmaster compatibility

The nonnef kit is about as much bang for buck in my opinion since the upgrades to the trailer do a lot to make it better, but to each their own. I’ll be ending up with both rollers
