The scale between him and the MPM carbots looks pretty good. Guess I'm sold on both modes now  
Only thing holding me back now would be that damn price...

And they got the caliper color right!

 

One thing that might need a little fixing on mine that I'm looking into. The car panels that wrap around the lower leg look like they are supposed to tab into a slot near the wheels. The right leg (first three pictures) does so just fine. The left leg (last three pictures) panel has a tab that sticks out too far to push the panel far enough down it can fit into place. The tab what is in the way is quite long (last picture), and probably could be shaved down a little bit. I figured I'd transform him into car mode and look at those tabs and slots to see how they are used before I do it. The only thing I am thinking is maybe they are supposed to not tab here. That would give a little bit of inside ankle tilt. But I don't think that is the case, and it should tab.

I transformed him into car mode and back this morning. Was hard to do just because there are so many steps, and things need to be in the right places just to move other things around. But I never use the first transformation as a real gauge. I think once you know where everything needs to go it should be fine. I do really like how everything about the bot mode really compacts very well in the car mode. I will say the transformation does feel like a harder version of MPM Jazz.



Update: I did fix it by just shaving off a bit of the peg in the last picture. It now pegs in the same on both legs. I'm don't think it was supper necessary, as stability was fine without it. But my OCD for Symmetry demanded the modification.

 

This is a very difficult pill to swallow... I was hoping for a smaller vehicle mode than the HA, but they're essentially the same size. The robot mode feels like a sideways movement rather than an upgrade from my modded HA. Hard to commit to an alternative rather than a replacement at over £100...

 

His poseability is very good. His feet are a bit limited bases on their configuration, but his ballance is good. His proportions are similar to Barricade. But he has better waist rotation, head range, and very expressive hands.

 

Not sure why it comes with two guns when the figure already has one. I'd also say leave the brake calipers off the wheels unless there's gonna be a legitimate rotor assembly. He's (Tim made product) also doing another head for this guy... no it's not the visor version.

 

Do you think there is room in the transformation for those missing shoulder bits?

 

I don't get why everyone is making such a big deal out of only having the one gun. He only had one in the movie.

 

Pretty sure he was duel wielding once the action started.

 

Yeah and didn't they show a prototype with two guns and then they went back to one shortly before announcing the price? For the price another gun should be a no-brainer.

 

Ah, ok. Never noticed.

 

He looks amazing, but unfortunately is above my budget for MPM carbots. Hopefully he goes on sale at some point.
