Really? The dark green color, chunky lower legs, torso, shoulder gun, and alt mode scream G1 Hound loudly to me. When I think Bulkhead I think more olive green, big torso and arms, jutting jaw, and a battle wagon alt mode.

 

It's more the alt mode than anything. Hound to me will always be a Jeep Willy/Wrangler. The alt mode for this figure to me seems more like a roofless Hummer.

Between the

*Constant G1 minibot reissue cancellations a while back;

*Two previous pre-orders last year getting cancelled by Walmart.com themselves when they didn't meet the ETA.

*and now no word on when any Wal-Mart Netflix figures will get processed or will be available again online despite being in stores for a while...

Between all that, it has gotten to the point where I don't really trust pre-ordering with Wal-Mart.com anymore. I understand the current situation might explain the Netflix figures and other current delays but they had issues before Covid-19. I think I only had one successful pre-order with them and that was the 35th Siege Bluestreak.

 

Bluestreak was the one I couldn't get. I got both Soundblasters I ordered. I ordered 2, 1 for me, 1 for friend who prepaid me. Also for Bluestreak. I had to give him his money back for bluestreak because walmart.com decided my local store needed 14 (6 of which are still there) and cancel my preorder. The problem is they are trying to match what amazon is doing but can't do it. Their whole system is set up for brick n mortar and they aren't adapting to the online shopping swing fast enough. They match what amazon does every step with 3rd party selling, offering these items online...but their warehouses are not equipped to deal with the volume the same way. They are used to just sending trucks of stuff to certain stores.

 

My status just changed to Delayed—check back later for status update, for my Hotlink as of today. I'm glad I was able to find one on the shelf across town yesterday. I got Megatron too, that silver looks SO nice in person!

 

Did you know that Toyhax has a Bulkhead label sheet (with 3D face sticker) for WFC Hound?

 

Stopped by Walmart. Saw a couple Netflix Hotlinks and Megatrons. Already had Hotlink so I picked up Megatron even though I wasn't planning to buy him..

The metallic paint is much better than Siege Megatron. Wish I could return Siege Megatron.

 

Lol, same here, I only picked up Netflix.Megatron because everyone just kept going on about how well the new paint scheme worked...

And I thank them all..yes. so. Much. Better!

 

It looks great, but I still thing of megatron as "grey" than silver so I still appreciate the original release

 

What’s crazy is the Walmart’s in my area have gotten those displays in. Lots of Hotlinks(Transformer not sausage) around. Out of the Mini bots I pre ordered from Walmart.com I received was Outback. Bee got canned but a buddy found him for me.

 

Hoping to get a preorder in on blaster today. I hate having to go around and pick through walmarts, especially during covid  

 

good luck. Like the rest of the reissue walmart exclusives I will be avoiding. I still have original g1 toys and paid less than the reissues walmart is charging. My blaster still looks brand new and is complete. And got for less than $15 about 10 years ago. But after the 2 times I have tried preordering from walmart to get constant delays and cancellations twice...I am done trying to order online. I will just risk it and get it if I find in store. Or not get one if it comes to that because I refuse 3rd party markup on new figures...especially the netflix stuff.

 

I feel you. Its a shizz show. I don't think I will be gutted if I don't get it and will probably see it down the line as I did with most of them.

 

Yeah. I’ve decided it’s pointless to pre-order with Walmart. Delays, cancellations, etc. As big of a pain as it is, it’s easier to find them in stores (and usually faster...)

 

Reading the horror stories here regarding pre orders... I really hope those skylynx come through when they messed up on the price.

Pre-ordered Blaster. I tried to add some other in stock stuff (not toys) for free shipping, but when I did that it said Blaster was out of stock and wouldn't let me proceed. Oh well, it's not bad even with the shipping added.
