The Weapons are cool, I'm happy for anyone who needs this stuff, but over the years Iv'e amassed half of this stuff from 3rd party ... plus it will just be gray plastic? Shockwave's gun couldn't get some paint?

Will those weapons be painted? Or will be they just be in that gray color?

 

Imagine if they find a way to bring in some of the characters from the ‘alternate’ universe... I may be in the minority but I’d love an alternate Universe Optimus Prime & Galvatron voiced by Peter Cullen & Frank Welker!

I totally see what you’re saying, but there was no room for those accessories in Optimus’ Earthrise set, I can’t see anywhere else to release them. I actually think it’s a really smart move, as not everyone will want a Centurion Drone but Optimus’ parts will likely be the highest sought after. You may be able to make most of your money back just selling the parts individually.

Yeah, I’ve wanted something like this for a long time. A ‘crisis on infinite Cybertrons’ sort of event where Optimus, Rodimus, the BW cast & more all crossover. If BW Cheetor is involved in this as well (as the leaked Netflix line suggests) it may indeed be where they’re headed.

Also, if anyone’s wondering you can go back on the Panel link & replay it all at your own speed if you like, this time pausing & rewinding, so if you missed anything you can go back & rewatch it at your leisure (though how long they leave it up for I don’t know)

And for those who wanted more reveals... If they revealed what was leaked, what could they show at SDCC? It’s one of the biggest reveals of the year (along with NYCC & NYTF), if we see Cyclonus, Thrust, Soundwave, Dirge, this week’s 2 selects plus Earthrise W4 there’d be what, a two pack of Ironhide/Prowl, Bluestreak, Ratchet, Grimlock & Gnaw, plus a few Micromasters/Battlemasters. That’d be pretty underwhelming.

 

Could be the bad quality, but has anyone noticed how that megatron pistol looks a lot like the mp36? It looks like it has the head under it.

Centurion Drone marks the first time that there is a second reuse of a mold in selects. (I think?) This bodes well for future releases like Detritus, Slicer etc

 

As soon as I saw Tigertrack revealed, I thought to myself, “Let’s see how many times his name can be misspelled in the thread...”

What the guy (Lenny i think) had in hand were exactly like the ones in the picture. So Megatron and Soundwave have little paint and not much else.

 

I was pleasantly surprised. Would have wanted all the reveals to be the stuff that was leaked? Then folks would be complaining they did see anything new. As it was, there was only one of the five figures that we had seen before (Dead Prime), and I think RED Soundwave and Rotorstorm were the only ones that we knew were coming. There were no leaks that I know of for Tigertracks, the Drone, Blaster, or the accessory set.

 

Good showing, only want the centurion and mostly for the kick ass parts pack, very pleased to see they've finally caught onto that and worked out how to get them out.
Tigertracks was a surprise but not one I want.
Rotorstorm is weak but plenty of other characters have been in this boat before so I'll wait.

Can't buy the shirt as they have yet to open pulse to the rest of the world.

Undecided on Tigertrack, I don't have any of the Sideswipe molds, but I think I will wait on Deep Cover.

Not too interested in Rotorstorm, but kind of disappointed to not see him with new guns resembling his original toy.

Lot of cool stuff revealed, but I was disappointed to not have Hubcap revealed, I had my hopes up for him!

 

That weapon pack does more harm than good for me. It really highlights things that should have been included with figures, and stuff like the Megatron gun mode doesn\'t look even remotely G1. I\'m glad that the piece I theoretically should care the most about, Unicron-scale Prime, makes no sense in the context of the movie.

edit: On the up side, I already had my "Alternate Universe" Prime preorder in, so this event didn't cost me a dime.

 

Depends. I was fully expecting official reveals of Selects Exhaust and Greasepit today since sellers on ebay are getting early stock of them, so for me it was a surprise that we got Tigertrack and Rotorstorm instead.
