He has red eyes so he's a for-sure purchase. He will replace the vinyl bath toy-esque version from Walmart I currently have displayed on my desk.

 

the Soundwave looks the Soundwave looks very show accurate but then I look at pictures of magic squares absolutely show accurate transformable Legend scale Soundwave and I'm like "why would I buy something that doesn't look quite as good as that and also doesn't transform?"

the only times I've considered buying Transformers that don't transform is when they actually look better than me transforming ones or pills better than the transforming ones, and these do neither. For the price they don't seem worth it. They don't have the detailed paint and Deco that a lot of modern Star Wars Black Series figures have and they don't have the right kind of posability that preserve the Integrity of the sculpt and allows for really dynamic movements

 

I just want to see Cheetor Goddammit.  

 

I'll wait til I see these in store. Hasbro's smoky pics and pro photos of the prototypes almost never look like what shows up on pegs. There have been many Hasbro figures that looked fabulous in the official images but junk when the toy hit shelves.

Soundwave looks good. Hope the final product looks as good.

Transformers statues I can understand. Superhero statues I can understand. It's the jailbait porno anime statues I don't understand. Especially at the volume they seem to sell at since stores are constantly listing new ones. If THOSE can have a thriving market, Transformers action figures should be a given!

Really want to see Cheetor and PrimeArcee. All 3 revelead figures look quite good so far, so fingers crossed these do well and we get a bunch of them, also I'm wondering if the plan-ish paint-job of Prime, Megs and SW is just because of the G1 designs or not.

I agree. Cheetor and Arcee will really be a good measure of the lengths this line will go with paint accuracy.

The G1 figures have all the paint they need, it’s just that the G1 characters don’t have a ton of colour detail. Which is good, as I definitely enjoy action figures that aren’t fully painted and thus aren’t at increased risk of rubbing or chipping. The more colours represented in plastic the better.

 

Just waiting for preorders to go up on pulse.
