5 years ago, I really want a Overlord mold. TR Overlord was not yet announced and my custom Overlord was not yet comming up idea to me. I bought a KO TFCC Overlord, the quality sucks... Why is he with a oversized head? Today, my son told me that he would be so handsome if he has a smaller head. I dig a square hole on the neck as a socket for headmaster. I fit all my available headmasters on the body and I think every headmaster is better than original Overlord head. Which one is your favorite?? 1 2 3 4 5 6
1,2 and 4 seems to be most fitting but i dunno. Giving the aesthetic this figure have (since it originally comes from Bludgeon), compared with how blocky-esque Overlord's design is meant to be, you could even make an original character for that. Despite that, I believe the Nightbeat head is a good start to make a Overlord headsculpt.
Ahhh I see. As for headmaster, I think ramhorn would look nice painted up, but I like thunderwing's head on him just plain.
I think I realized why the original Overlord head looks too big: It's the face, which looks oversized for the helmet. Here is a quick Photoshop of the figure with a smaller face. You could scrap the face and still use the helmet for the headmaster. Hope this helps.
