Good ideas. Sadly I won't be doing it any time soon, he's going to have to go in a case that's wide enough and tall enough but I'll have to fold his toes in! In the future when I have a different set up I can do it.

I think with this and Koot coming I have to do a movie cast diorama. I wanted to do the whole G1 toon cast first but somehow I’ve amassed almost the entire movie autobot team. Just need a wheelie (gulp) and I have pretty much the entire autobot roster. (Not counting Junkions as “autobots” per say).

Is there an old thread on here about customs and the normal process of foreign packages arriving here in the States. I’d guess on average packages hang out for a day to a week.

I looked back at my eBay purchases and found this one order from April. It cleared customs on May 9th and then didn’t move until the 29th. I tossed it up to it being a misplaced/lost small package. But it ended up being medium sized.

Cause I’m looking forward to this more than usual, I’m curious how long it will sit waiting to be released/picked up from customs.

Any guesses why some packages hang out longer than others? Size doesn’t seem to matter.

I'm sure getting shifted to a whole new group to get to know will do wonders for his paranoia.

So what about the Chinese retailers sites? I remember someone mentioned a $200-ish wholesale price a week or so back?

After watching review videos I just think it's to small for what I want, just going to give my money to other figures I want instead.

I did that with my gmail account but nothing came up. The good news is that Show Z responded that they'll make the order active again so I can pay at the pre-order price.

Sites that only sell within China, I have no idea. I’ve only seen the higher international wholesale pricing. According to Showz, a lot of the Chinese stores had their stock bought out by international dealers. I don’t know if there is a current 2nd run at the local level in China or not, but if there is, it’s not on their main distributor’s English language site.

Don't know if anybody has mentioned it but you can remove his collar mid transformation. It's held on with just a peg-and-hole. Not accurate to the animation model, but an interesting detail nonetheless!

A person from ShowZ emailed a Paypal invoice for me to pay, but the invoice does not have ShowZ logo or name on it. Instead it's to Will Gift LLC. I have been corresponding with Frank at ShowZ. Does this sound legit? Is this how payment is usually conducted? I was expecting to pay through the ShowZ portal via paypal. This is my first time using ShowZ so not sure what to expect. I want to double check before I send $300. Can anyone confirm working with Frank? I have more details but but don't want to post them in the public. I can PM the details to anyone that has used ShowZ and has gone through similar things.

Just go into your Show Z account and click "pay balance". That way you know it's going directly to the site.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed the bit about the screw holes. Does seem a little shitty that they basically produced molds for only the right-side of the figure and then simply mirrored it in assembly. That kind of cost-cutting measure makes you wonder how the $350-$400 price tag can be justified. Don't get me wrong. I'm in love with this damn figure, and can't wait til my finally arrives. I just find this awfully peculiar.
