yeah, between the non-transforming and the Walmart exclusivity, I give this line a year, mayyyyybeeee 2 tops. It just seems really redundant and conceptually off base (compared to the other Hasbro 6" lines)

Why does Optimus look like he\'s trying to go Super Sayian (Super Cybertronion?) in the second pic?

Yeah, it's kinda odd. I'm guessing Wal-Mart is trying to double down with the exclusives as of late.

Makes you wonder if this series is replacing the build-a-figure cyberverse line?  Never seen more than 4 lines on the shelves at the same time.  We have Siege/Earthrise/Netflix, Studio Series, Cyberverse, and G1 on shelves at the moment.  I don\'t see Walmart squeezing in another line and I see Cyberverse just shelf-warming in stores.

Way to try to shoehorn in a "black series" for TFs.

    ZERO interest.

It\'s a shame these are exclusive to Wal-Mart.  They are the worst store in all existance.  I would rather shop at Gamestop before I shop at Wal-Mart.

What I don't get is why they don't go harder. Obviously only adults will be buying these show accurate renditions of 35 year old characters for 20 a pop. So why bot bump the price up to 30 (TFs are already more expensive than regular action figures) and make them AWESOME action figures? What i see herr just isnt impressive enough to want to buy

That's easy. Walmart. Here's how it literally works. Hasbro pitches an idea to Walmart. They tell them "We have this idea for an exclusive, and the MSRP is $30 a figure." Walmart responds "We love it! Make it for $20 with 25% margin and you got a deal." Walmart does that with shavers, electronics, clothing lines, etc. They are the ultimate retail bully. If Hasbro says no, then Walmart gives more retail space to Mattel. Walmart has mastered the skill of kids with divorced parents. They play one brand against the other to negotiate the prices down to fit what Walmart wants to offer.

Whomever it was that earlier said this was Hasbro's answer to the He-Man origins line probably wasn't too far off.

    Thx :)

I mean, the sculpt can always be better or more detailed, like on the ML or Black Series. But since the WFC figures offer a lot of panel lines, these may be more streamlined like the Origins. And those headsculpts are really off on some figures. Megatron and Prime on the other hand look well sculpted. I think Hasbro did a great job so far.

Since I am not from the USA, what is the problem with action figures being Walmart exklusives? Can‘t you just order them online if you don‘t want to get them in a store?

I honestly i think these are going to do pretty well. For one thing if im not mistaken we are going to get prime figures as well. As long as the quality is better than the movie one they kept trying to do years back, they'll do great. As far as not transformer transformers, there is most definitely agroup for that. 6" action figures all around are starting to gain alot more popularity. With increasing difficulty the art of transformation, you could keep the transformable one in vehicle mode and the use these for the robot mode. The only thing that would make this better would be if each one came with a thier vehicle mode. I would even mind buying them separately. Im sure we'll get Build a figures as well as long as those are big enough, they dont have to be titan sixed but not 6" either. I thing this holds alot of potential

The bigger question is "what is this replacing?"

Most Walmarts have two, maybe three, rows of pegs designated for Transformers. Those are currently taken by Cyberverse Warriors, Netflix deluxes and WfC deluxes. These can take the Netflix slot...but am I wrong in that I thought there was supposed to be a second wave of Netflix figures?
