Any sign of the 2-pack Seekers @ Targets?

Brickseek and so on coming up empty, but I can't always trust those results.

 

Walmart on Route 18 Old Bridge had a few Hotlinks and a solo Scrapface. Other than that, standard selection. Have a Good One and Stay Safe.

Not in Gloucester Township, Marlton or the Voorhees stores. Checked As of Friday

 

Deptford is also a bust.

 

It'll probably be another week or so. But remember, when the Rainmakers from Siege came out, it was the same thing. F5ing for restocks online, then months later, shelfwarming.

I'm not worried.

 

Seige Shockwave is a shelf warmer but
the Rainmakers 3 pack actually didn't stay around long enough to even become a shelf warmer, and like all TF Target exclusives they don't even have a shelf spot anymore. Yeah a lot of Targets got big shipments at first and they was stocked for 2 months, but being a Target exclusive they quickly became very hard to get for most people and then just gone, a lot of people never found a single rainmaker pack, and will never get one at retail. Just like the Target exclusive Micro Master 10 pack when it dropped at target they was everywhere and then just after 2 months gone. And why is this? because Target only ever gets 2 shipment waves of Exclusives, the first wave is usually a small wave (The one we are seeing now) and the second wave (the main wave that will stock most Targets) and when the second wave is gone that will be it and there will be no more. And also keep in mind that most people are still traumatised from the Amazon skywarp event, so people are desperate for the Target Exclusive Seeker 2 pack, and not all Target's will even get the Seeker 2 pack. So all this to say I definitely would not sleep on the Seeker 2 pack, because it may never actually show up at your local Target. Happy Hunting.

 

Went to my usual three again today. The only thing that changed was at Gloucester Township. The end cap looked restocked and they had a spot for the two pack, but had Grapples and Screams holding that shelf. Nothing new at Voorhees or Marlton

 

Target Union 22 east has 3 of the 4 Ghostbusters. Walmart union has everyone except Winston and Egon.

 

I'll say this... in my area, the Rainmakers shelf-warmed. They had to be clearanced. The micro master pack was right there with them.

The first week they came in, it was tough to get them. Had to be fast. Another shipment or two came in and those sat for a long while.

I don't expect these Seekers to linger however. They're much higher profile. It's too risky to chance they'll sit.

 

My experience with Target exclusives is the 1st batch will sell then the real wave happens and they will so many that will shelf warm. That's the opposite of Walmart, every store will get a one small batch and then that's it, then one store seems get every one of the allotment.

 

So a quick update: I was just at my local Target and they had the end cap set up for WFC Trilogy figures and they had an empty spot set for the Seeker 2 pack, I was thinking that with the spot set it couldn't be long now. So I grabbed a Target employee to see if they might have any in the back. So the employee scanned the tag for the Seeker 2 pack and told me that they had "Already Gotten Them In And Sold Out Fast within minutes!" I asked about the next shipment and when it's coming, and the employee said it's not coming and that the Seeker 2 pack was a limited release! I was in disbelief so she showed me in the scanner it said "Limited Release Seeker 2 Pack". Next I asked if this was all Target's and they told me that it might be but I will need to check with the other Targets, but they for sure will not be getting anymore Seeker 2 packs and that they will be taking down the Seeker 2 pack price tag down from the end cap!!!! So needless to say I'm scared that we may be getting Amazond again!!!!

 

Maybe Target learned there lesson. But just because it said "limited " doesn't mean they didn't make alot. More than likely your store will get one more batch it just might not be alot.

 

I really do believe you are right, because I cannot believe that I missed them! That was a very hurtful thing when the employee said those things to me, because I just really want the Seeker 2 pack and they are trying to say that I will not get it. It's very sad and hurtful!

 

Which Target was this?

I've been stalking Brickseek and Target's own site for these in the NJ/PA area. Typically we'd see at least some stores get stock in this general area, even if others got something in and sold out quickly. i.e. various upstate NY stores apparently have/had stock. There really hasn't been any "in stock" change around here lately. I also asked a Target employee in South Brunswick to check the DPCI for the Seeker 2 pack late last week... they said they hadn't gotten anything in, but it should be "next week" i.e. this week.

Hmm.

 

Walmart Kearny has full set of Ghostbusters but only one Winston. Still looking for the retro GB.

 

Target in Manalapan has 5x KSI Bosses, a bunch of Earthrise, and the Earthrise Endcap as well. Have a Good One and Stay Safe.
