    The plot thickens!
Doing some non-G1 designs could be rad, Prime Arcee could really benefit from a nice 6-inch action figure.
I'm reading the ideas folks have for others that could be in this format, and some cool ideas.
I'm excited that they are gonna do a Beast Wars character, and maybe this is a good time to do some of the Beast Machines designs, which I like.
Heck, I don't know for sure they aren't making a Beast Machine Cheetor, which I'd love as a good action figure.

Yeah, I've wanted really good figures of these designs for years, I'd go nuts if that happens in the RED line.

Speaking of the Mega SCF as well the smaller SCF, ah, you know those were the good old days for the return of G1 TF when most of tran-fans got excited by the Non-Transforming action figure, lol. I was pissed off when they cancelled the Mega SCF after I purchased G1 Prime, Megatron, Rodimus, Hot Rod etc.
Before the other RED characters got revealed other than Prime and Megatron, my first reaction was !@#$% why does every freaking new line always started Prime/Megatron and sometime the basic 5 (Prime,Megatron,Starscream,Soundwave,Bee) and then the whole line get cancelled and the cycle restarts all over again. I guess, my selfish rant cause I never got Mega SCF G1 UMagnus til this day, lol.

With the above being said, I thought RED Prime and Megatron look awesome, love it! It's definitely better than the Mega SCF from the look of it! I just hope more G1 characters get released and not just a short line...but the fact it includes the other line i.e Prime Arcee, give hope this line could be a vast one...
I'm definitely down for a 6" human scale of G1 Raul, Spike, Sparkplug, Carly, Chip Chase, Dr. Archiville, Fairborne, and especially S3 Only Human figures.
    Well said man!

I just hope that the packaging displays the fact that these are non transforming toys on the front for the kids/parents not in the know. It would be very dissapointing to buy or recieve a non transforming Transformer toy if you weren't expecting it.

Hasbro should reconsider....this is super lame. Who in the hell wants a Transformer that doesnt transform? Especially at that price point...

Then they'd accidentally get threads posted about them in the 3P forum...

You do realize no one is forcing you to buy it, right?

Why should Hasbro reconsider? This seems like a logical business decision. Lots of collectors want show-accuracy, and the current collector lines (Generations and Studio Series) are pushing the limits of their price-point in regards to accuracy while retaining a conversion function. For people who want a static display, a non-transforming figure works fine. The Flame Toys models and figures have proven pretty popular, and those don't transform. There are also the Revoltech figures which don't transform, which are pretty highly sought-after. These RED series figures are *much* cheaper and will be more readily available than any of those. It's also the price of a Deluxe... not sure what your point about price is there.

Obviously this line is not for everyone, but that's why it's an option. Converting lines still exist and are the main focus of Hasbro's efforts. Personally, I don't think I need any of the RED figures but I think it's cool that they're out there.

I know man, living in the big city like NYC where there is no Walmart in existing is a torture for me! I miss TRUs.... Of course there's Online, but it doesn't feel the same as seeing in person and picking which one has the better paint and no defect part, etc.

The nearest one to me is in a city that got hit pretty hard by COVID, so I don’t want to travel there.

I preordered some of the Netflix figures from their site, cancelled one, and then they lost my order for the other ones entirely. Since the site is probably my only choice, I’m just hoping that was a fluke and I’ll be able to actually get what I order.

They're over 10 years old and subject to the Unobtainium Rule of Collecting. That rule states that demand runs counter to availability. In other words, if horses stopped pooping, then horse poop would rocket to the top of every collector's favorite food list within seconds.

It's so weird to be defending a neo-ActionMaster line but it's a million times better a concept than the usual statue junk...

Not interested in non-transforming Transformer. But very interested in trying to figure out why Hasbro gives cartoon accurate 6 inch toys for Transformers, but has to take all kinds of liberties and "modernize" the GI Joe equivalents. You're no better than Sideshow Toys, Hasbro. And for that, you should take a long walk of shame. Even Hot Toys created a pretty cartoon accurate Prime figure, but only does GI Joe characters from those awful, awful movies. . .

Totally agree that this line probably isn’t for everyone. But, I will say, if we’re going to be getting some non-G1 characters in this R.E.D line, I will fully support it and throw my money at it. I’ve never been interested in non-transforming Transformers, but I will fully support this line.
