There is a red version you're unfamiliar with. The G1 toys of Cliff and Bee were both released with Yellow and Red variants. However, RED is the name of the line, like marvel legends or black series, and is not referring to the color.

This is a good move demand is increasing thanks to import stuff and people realizing the strenghts of non-transforming figures, also i bet these will be getting better and better the more the designers understand how to work around the aestethic.

Really like these, but of course I'd paint the prime chest windshields sky blue... Whether I get these will depend on if they are in scale because if every figure is 6 inches then I'll pass.

The only articulation that looks limited is forward and back leg swings... the waist skirt will keep it from going a full 90 degrees ... but unless you want your figure sitting down... it doesnt matter.

Those upset about Sunbow and G1.... suck it. You'll have to wait until us Geewuners are dead . I wish TFP and TFA would get love but I understand that if those toys had sold like G1 toys do... they'd be getting the love.

    Optimus looks like junk.

If it reaches my side of the world (at a decent price), I will most probably buy Megatron for a desk bot

BTW regarding the g1 hate: Your tears are as tasty (if a little salty) as ever.

Because these look more like the cartoon than the new transforming toys

Calling it now. R.E.D Cheetor is going to be the Transmetal version as a pre-tool for Beast-Era Ravage. The other Cheetor listing is going to be something Season 1-based if not entirely new.

So they are doing multiple iterations of Transformers? They\'re not sticking strictly to G1?

I love when the people comparing this with the 200$ toys, it's like this scene every time

None of the lines will be "complete", we'll just get random characters from various generations. You'll likely get 10 different Primes before getting 10 different G1 characters. Lol

I guess doll collectors will like it. And lovers of all things overpriced.

Not a fan of non-transforming Transformers. Not at all.

But hey, it's a thing. It's a thing you can collect.

Based on what I can see from Optimus & Megatron so far, I think they should have pushed the articulation a bit further. Looks like the elbows and maybe knees can't bend much past 90 degrees, and the legs are restricted by the 'hip skirt'. That kinda thing is forgivable on a transforming figure IMO, but for an action figure with no other design considerations, might as well push the poseability as far as reasonable for cartoon-style activity, though admittedly that could compromise the cartoon-style looks somewhat.

#G14Life - However, these are not my transformers & I hope others enjoy them as I will not be supporting them. They look unrealistic & nothing more than an attempt to recreate the 12 inch GI Joe Success in this line. Only a very specific subsection of the fandom will collect them...and not for long depending on how good/bad they are. Lets hope they do better on shelf than the Walmart shelves flooded with War for Cybertron & Earthrise going no place in MA. Can't encourage a retailer to buy if the shelf space never empties.

a character that would look perfectly for this line is Mistress of Flame. Or Quintesson. Or The Fallen (movie). Characters that don\'t have an \"official\" alt mode.
If used correctly, this line could give us some nice surprise.
