"I considered sparing your wretched little planet Cyberton. But now, you shall witness...its dismemberment!"

looking at the pics below, i was wondering if you think the Unicron and Primus toys are really in scale with the scene in TFTM.

And yeah, that is unicron's mini on Primus- the traitor!

i wish primus was a little bit bigger so he could be as tall as unicron in bot mode..........or maybe have unicron be a bit smaller

I don't think anybody was convinced that Unicron and Cybertron were in scale in the movie. Unicron seemed to be able to firmly plant both feet on Cybertron. If he wanted to, he could easily take a few steps around.

If they were in scale, it'd be like you or me stepping on one of those bouncy balls Dwight Schrute uses as a chair.

Keep in mind how much Unicron's size changes throughout the movie. He seems to shrink substantially in all his scenes with Megatron/Galvatron.

Right. I never bought the size of robot mode in the movie but then again Megatron was a thousand times bigger in robot mode than gun mode so Unicron could be the opposite like Astrotrain. He seemed even smaller in the comic when he ate Brainstorm. Also in the image above he looks a lot smaller than when he slammed his hand into Cybertron and if I'm not mistaken in another scene when he was standing on the planet Cybertron looked a little smaller. It isn't like this would be the first time a Transformers scale changed.

    good points....

I like the size of the individual toys, really.
Unicron's bulk is menacing, and really gives the impression that he could devour Cybertron anytime he wanted.
(as apposed to the movie, as you have stated, where he palms Cyberton like a basketball one moment and the next, he is standing on it.)

In robot mode, Primus is still kinda small, but it doesn't mean he is a slouch.

so the toys aren't all scaled to each other, but to me they got two to be somewhat in scale to each other. it works.

I was somewhat bummed when I saw for the first time that Primus was smaller then Unicron. But when you lean back, and take another look, I think they're perfectly scaled to each other.

    point to ponder...

I take Primus and his lack of size in stride, considering they at least made him into a Triple Changer....

Although, from the kooky pictures in the instructions, i haven't dared transforming him into spaceship mode.

It's like a Fort Max spaceship mode anyway, you can barely tell what it is. For how much more detail there is on the figure I dont mind being smaller than Unicron at all, I love how dynamic the mold on Primus is.

Didn't Unicrons size in TFTM change?
When Unicron first transformed he easily crushed Cybertron with his hand but then he could easily put his feet on Cybertron with space still to walk.

    soooo what are ya saying?

Look at Omega Supreme. He's just a tank, track and a rocket launch pad and he's toe to toe with metroplex, (a city.) I knew trypticon was big and quite equal from my memory to Metroplex.
never had Scorponok, so can't say.

    soooo.
i had a theory about those guys, but it stinks.
Metroplex is to Fort Max.....like montgomery Alabama is to Dallas, Texas?

sheesh, just think of it as Hasbro not thinking ahead too much, so they built Max as the big one and totally dropped the ball on Unicron being such a wanted villain figure...

yep. There was never any kind of consistant scale with Unicron, or half the characters for that matter.

G1 had horrible scale, and the sizes of characters changed from scene to scene in both the movie and TV series. Personally, I like that Primus is a bit smaller than Unicron.

    What the hell is that?!?!?!?
    I LIKE IT!!!!!

isn't it nice that TFs did take a stab at giving us like the Ultimate bad guy, then eventually gave us a decent (acceptable to me anyhoo) figure of him?
don't see a massive Galactus figure out there- at least not fort max like, ya know.

He did'nt crush Cybertron with his hand.He was actually smaller then Cybertron in planet mode. Therefore he could not eat it thus had to transform to attack it.If you watch the scene he is about as large as Cybertron in robot mode.He actually takes his hand reaches out over the top of the planet and rakes his hand across the surface causing total chaos for Shockwave and the rest of the Decepticons on the inside of the planet.
