I'm not entirely opposed to a Nemesis repaint, but it feels like it's just the road too often traveled. I'd honestly like to see a company do a Nemesis Prime that is a significant remold, if not entirely new mold altogether if they're releasing him. Granted, I know that takes away from the intended easy money of a simple recolor, but if we're going for easy, and uncommon route, Nova would fit both pretty well.

Go for the trick shot, do a Magnus white version. Seriously, this figure is an absolute beast, the paintwork is some of the best I've ever had on a transformer. Throw in its posability and transformation, its right up there with some of the best releases I've ever owned. It's got to be from an existing company under a new name, it's incredibly well done for a first release. I mean shit the price alone for what you get is insane, I literally cannot praise this thing enough.

So this guy has been out a few months and is awesome - an upgrade in every way from Alpha Pack. Sales wise, some places are out of stock (Toy Dojo, ShowZ), while others still have him (TFS, TCP). With zero news on Civil Warrior's other projects (WW Megs and WW Devastator) in quite some time, is this company going to make it, or go the way of Spark Toys?

Unfortunately, with so many 3P companies, long periods without any updates is more often the rule, rather than the exception. Also worth noting, for many companies, the updates you do tend to see along the way often don't necessarily even come from their "official" channels but a combination of rumors, individuals landing a photo or screenshot of something in development, etc. At this point, going even 2-3 years without any updates has been fairly common for some projects that later do release.

There was speculation on Baidu that the company responsible for Grant has already gone under due to COVID. No idea if it's true or not, but it'd be a damned shame if it is. Not that it would be impossible for them to resurface under a different name, of course, or the designs/designers to make their way to another company, but at this point there's no indication of anything.

It's a shame if we don't get any more from them. I got both WW Prime and WW Megs from Spark Toys, then was looking forward to their Grimlock but unfortunately didn't hear anything else.

General Grant scales better with other MP scaled figures, but is a bit lanky compared to the Spark Toys version, which I still think is closer to the comic version I remember.

If they turn out to be one and done, that'll be unfortunate but damn did they ever do a great job on Optimus. He still catches my when I walk past.

Finally got mine! My first MP scaled Optimus. It's so gorgeous! Couldn't even imagine that, untill opened a box.

Tempted to pick this guy up, though I'm bummed the company may have gone out of business due to the pandemic. He seems similar in playability and weight as TFC Supreme Commander. For anyone who has both of these, which do you prefer overall?

I really hope they continue even if it's under another name. While I don't have (but Definitely want) the TFC SC.... General Grant is one of the best figures I own. I'd say grab him ...especially if stock will eventually disappear

Thanks, I watched a bunch of video reviews including yours, which really put this figure on my radar. I'm concerned about some of the QC issues some are having (including Larkin) particularly if this company is MIA so no replacements will be available. Do you find him to still be pretty playable in spite of potential QC issues? (breaking tabs, hand pieces, paint chipping, etc)

I have Grant and the camo version of Supreme Commander. I really like Grant, but the TFC bot is so good that I would definitely say it's much much better. However, it's almost like apples and oranges. They're really very different bots.

Firstly: Thanks for checking out my review !
Secondly : there is no wrong decision in this case. That TFC SC is an absolutely beautiful figure.

Is there any chance these guys may be Gigapower under a different name? The design, build quality, and colors even seem similar.
