Yeah this is why HA Soundwave actually fits in with the MPM bots.

 

Here's a photo of my (recently for sale) HA Soundwave next to MPM-03. He is modified with removable leg extensions. With them he is a half head taller than MPM-03. Without he is a around a head shorter.



I think the NewAge Soundwave is a good scale and after watching the movie scenes with Soundwave I could not find an instance where both Bee and Soundwave were standing at full height near each other so being either slightly taller or slightly shorter is OK with me. Based off of actual car scale Soundwave should be shorter.

 

HA Soundwave doesn't work well for two reasons. One, it's a terrible representation of Soundwave. Two, it's vehicle mode sis too big for MPM. NA looks to have more or less nailed it for both modes

 

Got my shipping notice from TFS Express today. I know it's pricey but f@ck it, I'm too thirsty for new toys   Shipping of any larger stuff is dead for me but at least smol boys are coming.

too bad TungMung got cancelled....I preferred that version even tho the feet were not as per lineart. I ended up getting this...The price is stupid but its the only thing around

 

I remain semi hopeful that one day someone will find that cad file and make the tungmung one.

 

While I do like the look of the TungMung version it is not as accurate as the NewAge one especially from the back view and the legs.

Definitely not as accurate, but I dig it. It's like an artistic updated version of the character. Kind of like what Square Enix does (see pictures).

 

And Bandai just had to take it away from us.....

NA wouldn't need to, Bandai always shuts down that stuff

 

I think they already had issues with bandai before NA was doing their version

 

NA revealed their’s before all that went down, so there is a ever so slim chance it was them. Either way their fate was inevitable, but I wish it had come after it’s release

NewAge, superior; TungMung, inferior.

 

TungMung was shut down soon after Bandai revealed their new Digimon model kits line, which is what TungMung usually make.

The lesson here is never mess with Disney or Bandai, cause they will end you.
