Man, I'd love to hit the pool but with the situation right now... (most outdoor pools are allowing 1 hour and like 10 people at a time considering that they're open)

 

Back in 2013 I was a day camp councilor at the local YMCA and pool time was always the favorite of the kids.

I wonder if they even are doing day camps this year.

 

Day camps here in Canada are kinda of a go this year from what I heard

 

I hate people who are already in a relationship and yet will come over you, approach you with interest openly but hide the fact that they are in that relationship.

I am not against been f@#$(* buddies but dont pretend you are single just to get in my pants dammit.

I hate how toxic the gay community is. I'm glad I had friends who helped me accept my sexuality as a teen. I am openly gay and am so thankful for all the support I was given growing up. No thanks to the community itself though. Edit: Atleast not on a personal level. Credit were credit is due, the community has fought and continues fighting for our rights and acceptance in society.

I can't be monogamous without being labled as "possessive, selfish, and heteronormative".
If I don't like hooking up left and right I'm "a heteronormative prude".
If I'm not waving a 50 foot rainbow flag, playing Lady Gaga in the background, and farting glitter I'm "homophobic and heteronormative".
Sorry, but me being attracted to the same sex doesn't mean I have to conform to and check off everything on a list of stereotypes from a community that treats each other like shit. If someone in the community doesn't conform or participate in all those things, the community acts like you're actively being homophobic, but really it's just that it doesn't feel like you're being yourself and you don't wanna force it. Like, you folks treat your bi and trans folks like shit but then go preach love and tolerance? Bullshit. It becomes nothing but a bunch of stupid toxic cliques.

I just want to live my life, if other people's lifestyles are different than mine I don't give a damn, just don't tell me how to live my life if I'm not doing anything wrong.

I’m also gay and I think the lack of me having social media as a teenager (esp Twitter) helped me to understand that social media is the absolute worst as it encourages you to see the worst in people. It’s a constant us vs them mentality and one “wrong stand” and it’s cancel culture time. Yeah, so much for “acceptance,” can’t even handle this stranger’s opinion. I get how you feel about having to fit into the stereotypes or else a homosexual man is a secretly homophobic man and you hate yourself. Just that kind of thinking is not only dumb as fuck but really toxic mentality of “us vs them.” How can I still be homophobic if I’m actively choosing not to date women? Like sorry, but parading around my sexuality as if it’s my personality and the only important part about is just really cringy. When I “come out” to a new friend or something, they are genuinely surprised because I act like a normal (nerdy really) human being and mostly forget about it because I don’t bring it up unless I have a boyfriend and mention him. I’m glad you have a support group. It’s fine that the gay community may not support you because having an IRL group of friends and family that you know is more fulfilling (at least to me).

Yes, exactly. I mean, I think that its possible to be a self-hating gay just like there are self-hating people of color, but this? This isn't that. This is just people living their lives and being themselves without having to conform to what they are expected to conform to. I see myself being gay as just that. I am attracted to the same sex, and while that is something that defines who I am, it is far from being the only thing that defines me. And you know what? If it is the only thing that defines some people, that's totally fine! Just don't go guilt-tripping others if that's not who they are. You do you as long as you are not hurting others.

 

I haven't had a good email for months. I'm wating for either a store to say pay for invoice or item has been shipped. But so far, I've been getting lots of junk mail with ads saying percentage off items, coupons to art store, Walmart flyers, Ebay are you still interested, or lots of stuff in stock that I don't want.

 

I can't wait until the day I can finally leave this bass-ackwards hometown of mine that's stuck in 1942 and finally live somewhere that's in 2020 like the rest of the fucking world.

God I hate USPS. Long story short: Got a Text last Friday saying a Package was Delivered and went right away to get it and to my Surprise NOTHING.! I emailed USPS and as predicted they said on their records it's been delivered and pretty much Case close/Resolved.

USPS is trying say maybe it got stolen and I said that's impossible as I was in the living room with the window open waiting for the Mailman and I never saw the mailman or my package but got an Alert saying "Delivered in/at mailbox."

I predict it wasn't my usual Mailman (Who knows me!) but someone else working that day that was just Careless and gave my package away. Super pissed and the Seller said he did his part so this is on me.
