It should have a dub once it hits US Netflix.

For the North American license, they usually don't post the series until it's either done, or at least at the midway break.

Already up to Ep.14 for subs...think it's past the halfway point now, but if they do a dub (which they should, a lot of it uses learned english as a main, going around various countries) it'll probably be once they past that point when it's a regular release and not netflix.

I'm absolutely loving it, kinda reminds me of TNT's Leverage.

Currently watching Goblin Slayer: Uncut version again. I really hope the prequel manga Goblin Slayer: Year One gets an anime adaptation.

Nice! Is there a place you read them or do you buy the books?

Expressive animation, energetic pacing, and bright character designs, which is the norm for Trigger. Trigger kind of has 3 modes when it comes to narrative: safe, trying very hard to be good, or completely off the leash. Kinda like their previous Netflix release with LWA, this is a pretty safe story. It's very predictable and kind of annoyingly lowest common denominator dealing with subject matter they can't really tackle. There's not enough action to recommend as an action show, the character writing is a little too weak and marred by the plot to be engaging on their own, and the story is just nonsense. Episode 5 is great though, the visual aesthetics are incredible, and Nazuna is extremely cute.

I really enjoyed how trash most of the human beings in this how were and loved the comedy. Tomaruin is such a disgusting person. I thought the framing device of the story didn't play to the show's strengths at all and it built up expectations they couldn't possibly deliver on, which led to an underwhelming conclusion where the comedy show tries to swing for great drama, where it then undercuts itself by pointing out how played out it is. I still really enjoyed it though.

It was enjoyably wholesome medieval romcom but I'm not sure the isekai aspect really added much to the story. If it was removed and everything else was the same I would never think something was missing.

Wait, what? Does Netflix want me to just watch fansubs then? Because that's how you get people watching things illegally.

Why doesn't Crunchyroll have it though?

BTW, Sailor Moon Eternal has been pushed back until Jan.

Crunchyroll doesn't have it because the show is produced in partnership with Netflix. Netflix put up the money for it. They get to do with it what they want.

And they wait for the entire series to be completed before posting it because that's how most North American users like to consume their Netflix content. They don't do the whole week-by-week simulcast thing. Plus that gives them time to get the dub(s) produced. They don't own a dubbing studio, unlike Funimation, so they have to get all the work contracted out.

Well that's lame as hell. Fuck Netflix. If I see it fansubbed, i'm just going to watch it that way.

    Thanks for the info.

Finished First and Second Barrage of Black Lagoon, the pacing was good, explored a lot with the amount of characters, but dammit do I want another season. Watching Roberta's Blood Trail right now.

Fortunately, the narrative structure of Black Lagoon is such that it doesn't beg for sequels/seasons, so Rei Hiroe's haphazard publishing schedule for the manga doesn't hamstring things too badly. But for sure, I want more. The characters are too good.

The series' infamous "cigarette kiss" scene, and every moment leading up to it are just *Italian finger kiss*

I started My Mental Choices Are Completely Interfering With My School Romantic Comedy and it is funny. It is nice to watch a show where I know none of the Japanese voice actors.

It's hilarious, starts to get more into the romance than comedy than I liked at the end of the series however, but I still enjoyed it.

Finished Tower of God and, you know, I knew it was coming, but to still see it, can't help but think, What a bitch. When's Season 2 coming

It was definitely different and that is what makes it so good. I like how Uchida Maaya makes all the Katerina sound so different.
