I like it but I'm going no further until I see an alt-mode. If it's anything like Siege Soundwave's crap attempt I'll probably swerve him entirely.

 

I don't wanna get too far OT from the thread, but I don't see how Siege's attempt was crap.

They made the Decepticon who deploys little troop bots into a.... troop drop-ship craft.

I mean it really makes lots of sense. The alt mode has front facing rocket batteries to clear the landing zone on approach, his "cassette door" opens on the back to let out troops with the engines mounted up and out of the way so they can run around him, and it's not aerodynamic because it isn't meant for dog-fighting. Just land, deploy, take off.

Like, I think it works really really well.

Yeah who in the world would know that was a "troop drop-ship" unless you were told that's what it is. It's a block with some other blocks stuck on the back. I'd say it's like a bunch of lego bricks stuck together but actually these days it's easy to make something way better than that out of legos.

I really hope this one turns into something much more recognizable. I wouldn't even mind a made-up tape deck alt mode but I'd want it to be realistic, and not just Soundwave doing some contortionist moves.

You're right. I've seen the error of my ways and now I think it's not a terrible excuse for a flying brick. In fact now I think even siege reflector's alt mode is worthy of being praised!

 

I think the bonus alt mode that they didn't have to give Reflector makes a great little scout ship. Because, you know, maybe the bot that specializes in taking pictures should be doing recon.

It's really what I love about Siege Decepticons. Not everyone is just generic fighter jets... They fill different roles in the Armada. There's variety and specialization. It makes it interesting.

Progress update on LT-04 Blueberry. Height is 16cm. Contain die-cast parts and Ravage can be stored into the chest. Alt mode is an alien broadcast machine. This is a prototype and its not the final color scheme

Embarrassing alt mode

 

As always, bot mode is paramount, and his looks fantastic.

Hasbro couldn't be bothered to design him an alt mode, so props to LemonTree for even trying. I'd absolutely rather take a shaky alt mode than compromise the mode in which he actually appeared.
