Where can I find the gap fillers?

Man, I'm sorry for everyone who has issues with poor construction, loose joints, etc. I got mine today and aside from the peg problem (I'm going to fix that in a few minutes), all of the joints on mine are SOLID. Not too tight, but not at all loose. I've had really good luck with all of my Siege/Earthrise figures. Prowl and Soundwave gave me some trouble not not fitting together in alt mode very well, but that's all.

Mine finally got picked up from customs after being cleared for more than a week.
I can’t believe I’d paid extra for faster shipping and it still took a month.

 

No pics just yet, but my GX-06 kit arrived yesterday. The long and short, the color matches pretty close but not perfectly, all the fillers fit damn near perfectly and rather easily in place. The forearms and secondly the thigh parts make the biggest difference in the figure. The feet fillers add a nice touch, as does the strip under the the bumper for the abs. The crane parts are well made, but it can be trick to get the flap at the end to open to expose or stow the hook.

 

Me too. Mine were in-state as of last week so hoping today or tomorrow.

 

awesome upgrade kit

 

This figure is a sleeper hit to me, ironically because I passed on it a few times initially, eventually caving since it mirrored the G1 toy proportions. Just a shame it can't handle the weight of added battle masters/Modulators/Weaponizers well. On its own it's hand candy though, poses very well.

 

What exactly is the upgrade kit made of anyway? Looks too smooth for 3d printing, but injection molding feels unlikely.

 

I think they are 3D printed; there is a texture to the unpainted black pieces while the orange bot pieces are painted with perhaps some light finishing work. They pinned the hinged pieces, so I wouldn’t put it past them to do some minor sanding.

 

Looks like a resin 3D print to me.

 

Heads up for those wanting to arm Grapple with with Smashdown: on my copy the handle fits all the way through the right hand, but not through the left.

Figured Smashdown would pair well since he's a hammer.

 

Just ordered the gap filler parts for Grapple and Wheeljack. Can't wait to get them.

 

Great figure I think but just a little hard to figure out to transform into alt mode. I still haven't gotten mine into alt mode but I'm ok with that anyway.

 

I actually found the transformation to be intuitive and simplistic. It took me about three minutes the first time out.

 

Yeah i get maybe about 45% complete but then struggle to figure anymore out. I'm just going too leave it in bot mode.
