Question how would you feel about a Custom SS Figure from myself ?

I've never showed this side of my head and didn't know if this is something people would like to see.

The project is a custom What would have been Earth mode BB Cliffjumper from either SS Dropkick ( car ) or from a Spare SS15 customizable Bumblebee I have I haven't decided yet on which.

The chest is supposed to look like this with the headlights touching the tabs on top of the grille piece.

 

I've always liked the bulkiness of that mold, but even with the arm cannon upgrade, I can't stand that silly looking smirking head. I know there was a head upgrade kit long ago but it's sold out everywhere I could find it

 

I divided my Studio Series figures to Autobots and Decepticons. And wow, this line is dominated by Cons! I’m still missing Scrapper and Sentinel, but we all know into which side both will go...

EDIT: I’ll try to take some more photographs of my current SS collection tomorrow. And I hope both Voyagers will finally come soon, so I’ll post how this whole collection look on my shelves! (No, they aren’t displayed on that windowsill normally haha)

Almost got me, thought that was real.

 

I don't know about a complete replacement head, but you can buy replacement antenna for KSI Boss and Decepticon Nitro.



All you need to do is unscrew the back of the head, remove the existing antenna piece (it's not glued in) and replace it with this new one.



I found it by searching "transformers 3d diy replenish" on eBay. Mine came from this seller, 6hk666666. You may find cheaper, but that's who sold me mine.

The part is expensive, for what you get, but it's hard to argue with those results.

My package arrived from capcomkai! What a haul! And it wasn’t very expensive either! I can’t wait to paint it all up. The display base is really cool. It has an autobot symbol on one side and a con symbol on the other side so you can use it with any figure. The shield is sooo awesome, as is the gun! The new sword is nice but feels thin and fragile. Good thing he already comes with a sword. The pillar is cool too but I don’t really see myself doing anything with it. It even came with that spike thingy on his arm that I think forms from the hose in fire truck mode. Only issue is the peg for the shield is a little too big. Gonna have to sand it down a touch as right now it fits in his hand but doesn’t go in most of the way.

 

Found my ROTF Jolt! He has quite a few parts missing but I've bought a used one who has the parts I'm missing. I love the vehicle mode. It wasn't too flashy like the other Autobots.

That's really cool. I looked up that item and found a bunch more of cool upgrade kits for other studio series figures but they're all very expensive. I can't afford them right now but I hope they're still in stock later when I do. I found a mpm styled cannon for SS voyager 2007 Megs and a Peru Kill styled sniper for SS Lockdown. I also found... a weird looking grainy masked Megatron head that looks like it was printed from shapeways white and flexible.

That kit looks awesome. I really wanna get it because it's the only kit that got the gun design right with the elongated handle. How much was it shipped if you don't mind me asking? Or pm

I've always loved Jolt's vehicle mode, goes completely with the whole "Robots in disguise" thing a little better than a custom made Car show Camaro. It might be a little difficult to see a Volt like that on any parking lot, but I wouldn't take the wild guess of believing that the blue hybrid car is an Ancient warrior alien robot next to the shiny new cars. Awesome design on either mode and a completely wasted opportunity and potential of a character. Goodbye Jolt, of all the most expendable, but the most important In the movie.
