Reset day might be the 21st, but thats likely because it's the beginning of a new week. While I havent seen it myself, i've seen a lot of stores in pictures and heard a lot of people here saying their store has already done the endcap resets, and there are spots for the seekers and the clones. With them being an endcap space, I bet you they will be restocked multiple times. Target wouldnt want an endcap to just sit with big empty spots for long periods of time.

Never worked at Target, but my years in retail made me think that it's just the day/week they want it done by and expect stores to have the product in to stock it. But looks like the clones will be a bit late.

 

Yes, the 21st is a set date that is actually more accurately a set week. And while Sunday is the first day endcaps and other planograms/revisions are scheduled to be set, Target stores have until the end of the week to set all of them for the store for that week.

And depending on the previous week's workload versus the next week's, it is not uncommon for endcaps to be set early, and they can be set whether the product available is at 100% or not. Many stores also only get three trucks a week, so even if the endcap is built by the 21st which is a Sunday they likely won't be getting product for the endcap until possibly on Monday or even later.

I also think you'll see restocks on these, but people should remember that if you guys already bought all 6 of the initial two packs out of the back, more cases of the two pack are still heading to other stores, so the chances of getting replenishment right away are likely zero and might take weeks. But I think just like the Rainmakers, a little bit of patience will pay off here in the end.

 

Not necessarily 6, most stores here in my area of MI only got one case, so only 3.

 

Just swung by the nearest Target (which isn't so near) today and that's what I saw. Endcap. Most of the ER figures (figures the day after my Soundbarrier arrives in the mail I see one in the wild), but no Seekers.

 

Same thing at my local store tonight in NKY/Cincy...endcap full of Siege/ER/SS...but no seekers...

 

Soundbarrier very rare yet in my local TRU like 5 Soundbarriers.  I also took the plunged and ordered the Seeker set online.

 

Since it's suppose to be released tomorrow, does that also mean it'll be available on Target.com?

 

probably not, don't think they have enough inventory. like the Star Wars Carbonized Mando.

 

So can you just pop there heads off to swap them or do they need to be broken open and glued together?

 

I can't find this pack now, but I do not regret choosing putting that money towards my new car.
I'm sure it will pop back up on Target.com in a few months.

 

A vehicle is always more important than a toy but please don't fool yourself into thinking these will be readily available.

 

I'm trying to stay positive in my hunt for these two. I have Starscream, now I must find them to complete the Trine. My inner completionist demands it

This is true. Years back a local Target's resets weren't done by the day stated, just started on the day stated. So there's a chance that some of you may not see the aisles reset tomorrow nor the Seeker 2 pack. I remember 1 store not having their reset complete until more than a week later.

If you find them tomorrow, awesome! Just be prepared to not find them, so try not to set yourself up for disappointment.

The Seeker 3 pack last year was easy to find after a while, hopefully the same happens with this new 2 pack.

 

Well that is the fun part: these have no set "release date", so it could be any day now. Or never, it all depends on availability and also if there is some kind of future promotion in the coming weeks to go with these end caps that they might be waiting for before making them available through the website.

But there is at least a listing on Target.com, which is a good indication that they will be available there maybe soon and that it is worth keeping an eye out starting tomorrow.

 

Just got the alert on my phone. Immediately tried to place an order. No longer in stock.

Took about 20 seconds.

 

Just got the in-stock alert from Target at 1:24AM EST. Was online when the email landed and went to the page, but kept falling out the cart then said sold out again.

 

Got a notification this was in stock on target.com. Went to add to cart and was immediately pushed to saved for later. Sigh.
