That’s a really cool truck. But is it just me, or did Hound look exactly the same in robot mode in both movies he appeared in?

 

I always liked seeing that military truck. Hounds face, not so much.

 

Give him some kibble... and I'd take any figure of that design.

 

I can see that Hasbro based their AOE Leader Optimus on this.

 

Nevermind, then.

Perhaps this could be a cool Furai model design? As is?

I don't like any of those concepts.
The Da Vinci concept however could be salvaged if only it was reworked into an ancient prime.

So we had an Einstein bot (Que) and now a DaVinci bot! What other historical figures commended for their intellect should be a bot next? Newton? Curie?

His face is a little better here. The weight I didn't mind much.

 

I honestly would have preferred this design for Hound. While I've certainly grown to like Hound's design more than I did initially (I really hated it at first), I still find it a bit too over-the-top for my taste. This design has a lot of personality and conveys the idea of a commando without coming across as goofy with the belly and the beard. Not that there's anything wrong with a Transformer design being goofy...I just I feel like this finds a better balance.

Although this would make a neat design for a younger Hound, if they ever do the WW2 movie.
