Yeah, I don't know if it's the thick "eyebrows" or what. It almost looks like they tried to make it a mix of Siege Megatron and Cyberverse Megatron.

 

I may have to break down and get the netflix one if I decide to go to Walmart (and they have it). Not a huge fan of this mold, but think I need at least one incarnation in this trilogy, and not a big fan of them whipping silver paint randomly all over them.

similar to what I did with Prime, if I wouldn\'t already purchased the Siege, I\'d probably get him.
I got the ER Prime and Siege Megatron, and I\'m fine with them.

This ER Megatron feels like an insta-pass......Like......how do you screw this up....like.....how....HOW IN GOD'S NAME...did we get such a downgrade..Siege had flaws....like a whole lot...but you know what...you know what..he kept a presence, he kept a good look, his sword of mega death....even if the tank was crap...But Earthrise...What the actual Hell am I looking at with his robot mode? If this was 5-10 years later and this came out I'd be like "Oh...thats cool"

Sheeesh. This looks terrible. The plastic looks cheap. The backpack is bad. The damage looks bad. The spear looks bad. And the face? That face! Hoo boy.

Well I like him. Gonna be copping Megs. Looks closer to G1 and I like the earth tank and the new fusion cannon. Hope the ankles are better than Seige Megs.

 

I never had any interest in this mold, but the Netflix paint really looks great in person. (IMHO)
I've said it before, but I really feel like the worn paint on the NF figs is what the tried/wanted to do with Siege but just didn't quite pull off.

 

 

Wouldn't the better answer be for Hasbro to pay the workers better wages?

 

I'm actually not a big fan of the new Doubledealer, I might change my mind when I get him, but right now he looks really awkward. The other two? Definite stars.

Dear Lord, that Megatron is BAD!

 

Megatron will probably never be a gun again. Not on a mainline retail figure. I wish it was avoidable but it really isn't at this point. Best I can think of is they include an accessory for other characters to hold that is supposed to represent him as a laser gun or something.

That said im sure they can think of something other thsn a tank. Why not a stationary turret that can be manned by other cons?

 

How were they careless with their sources?

 

Didn't Hasbro and Takara use Jet Fair between at least 1994 and 2011?
