Call me crazy, but I'm holding out hope the rumored 10 are gonna be a thing, but then, I'm the guy who complains about lazy repaints but simultaneously buys every single seeker color when they come out, so I might have too many dogs in the fight?

 

I expect KFC cares significantly more about how you vote with your wallet than any comment you may post online.

I'd probably get all of them too. Oh, and in case anyone is wondering about "the rumored 10", when they first announced Wreck Gar they showed off slides with several other Junkions as well. Other than Wreck Gar they were "Junkion ##", and the highest number shown was 10, indicating they had at least that many designs in mind.

 

The only thing that could get me much more excited than 10 MP Junkions would be a Junkion combiner, ideally one that might use something like the Animated Wreck-gar garbage truck as a torso and a whole army of motorcycles (at least 8) to form all the limbs. Then we could have a proper Landfill combiner (ignoring the 4-member Car Robots version)!

I think it might be important to note "all" as in Castoff and Scraps are available now, but "all 4" of the new releases will be available by sometime in July. As far as I know, nobody has Dregs and Gunker yet, and won't for probably at least another month or so.

 

Anyone here have these in hand yet? Just curious since they pretty much landed here in the states and Im assuming most countries have received theirs. I cant even find any in hand pics online or toy reviews on youtube.

 

I have the Reissue on Wreck Gar coming Sat or Monday. Guess I'll get Castoff too.

 

I have issues with the price for these. I bought Crash Hog for £64.99 couple years ago and the exact same mold is being charged at £86.99.

Why the jump? That's not inflation

 

Probably the cost of making new hands just to please the people who for some reason wanted less articulation on their figures.

 

At least part of it (I don't know how much) is increased shipping costs out of China. Almost everything has gone up recently, I've seen a lot of posts for US buyers saying buying from China is actually the same price on many figures as it is from local retailers.

I'd also like to know what you think about them. As a child I couldn't get past Wreck-gars facial hair. Because of that, I haven't allowed any Junkions in my Masterpiece collection. Now that I've turned 40 and I'm old as hell, I'm trying to move past my biases and grow as a person, so I just ordered the two Junkions that are in stock at the chosen prime. I've got the rest on pre order. Who am I to judge if in 2005 a robot wants to live on a trash planet and grow a mustache.

 

Mine is also in transit from TCP. Was kinda hoping that they'll get to me by father's day but that doesnt seem like the case. Old? Im 54 years old. That's old lol

 

He's solid. Just like the others. Might be a tad less diecast but it's still solid and hefty. Good joints. One of the shoulders comes untabbed under the arm due to the core swap gimmick but it's fine. My main gripe... And it's small... Is that while they gave him more standard mp hands without the fragile fingers he still has the damn thumb. He comes with the "net" which ended up just being a piece of metal door screen. I was a little bummed about it at first but it's actually pretty smart. I haven't transformed him yet but I will later.
