I've ordered a set from TFSafari but they won't ship it due to COVID-19. Even asked for their alternative shipping but they won't reply to emails. Annoying. TFS are usually pretty good.

 

I dont get this one. When did Soundwave have pistols ? Also does the chest piece become part of the transformation ? Or is it just something you snap on for robot mode ?

 

I had one order placed with TFSafari placed back in January and I did not receive it until late April. They had originally told me to wait 30 days for it to get stateside but it was held up in customs until late March, then it got to the states in California.

 

Yeah, emgo even already reviewed it.

 

Disappointing how movie Soundwave\'s design and function is such an afterthought.  Another wasted opportunity. 

 

Did Soundwave ever have those miniguns in the movie? Or are those original weapons just to give him more accessories besides Laserbeak?

(Kinda wishing DNA Design or someone recreated the MechTech weapon his DOTM deluxe had. It was a really cool looking one...)

 

I just watched DOTM and Soundwave starts out with one pistol when the Decepticons take the Autobots prisoner in Chicago. When the drop ships fall in that scene, Soundwave manages to grab two pistols and starts blasting Autobots!

The chest piece I don't really see it? In certain scenes maybe, but close up it don't look like this.

 

In the movie?

 

I honestly never noticed this. Those fight scenes go by so quickly. Im not sure if I need these. Having two guns kind of kills the laserbeak on his arm pose. I dont suppose they store anywhere in robot mode ?

 

I actually think he looks more accurate without the chest piece.

 

I saw video for this by emgo few days ago I am unimpressed by this set guns that make it better chest piece not so much

It’s shape resembles more of an SMG than a pistol

 

I mean, it started out because of toys, so that sounds about right.

 

Finding out SW had guns is bigger news to me. Never even noticed.

 

Got mine today. Didn't realise that it had thigh fillers too. That was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.




Really dig the kit. The guns, to me, are a part of his design so Soundwave feels "complete" now.
