I think they will make the quick repaint, remold but you have to wonder about Hosehead. I am more worried that they are moving onto Armada. This is a company that keeps a small lineup of reveals compared to when they initially came out and have slowed down considerably. Now they have Megs, OP, Jetfire, and Overload. Its basically a redo of their whole God Ginrai combiner. I get their strategy but I have to think they are dead for G1 MP outside of maybe one more character. They have an excuse now to abandon us for 2-3 years after having already canceled Roadbuster and even G2 Megs. The market is definitely moving away from G1 MP and I am definitely not happy.

 

Been a while since I looked at this thread; has Fans Hobby confirmed they are making Nightbeat? That would be delightful! That being said, I like the looks of Athena and may pick her up!

For what ever it's worth, I seem to remember a post pages back where someone said FH was going to do Hosehead (and refered to him as Hosehead and not Cab).

 

They've shown a gray prototype of "Ace Hitter," their not-Goshooter. (He's up for pre-order at ShowZ, with pictures.) I can't imagine they would get that deep and then drop the series. They are, as someone mentioned upthread, the company that made all three Monsterbots, so I'm inclined to trust their commitment.

She looks good for being the only attempt at the character and the obvious plan to be reused as Nightbeat, but accurate? Not even close, especially with the reversed transformation.

Granted that there's mass-shifting car bonnet going on with the arms here, but that could easily be done with faux parts.

 

Well, the Goshooter is basically a retool to a degree as well so you get virtually 3 uses at that point.

 

Will this be released in June or July? TFSource and TCP have different ETAs.

 

Looks feminine enough to me, especially when she's next to another Headmaster.

 

Hopefully it will come with 2 Headmasters. MB-12's for toy accuracy and MB-13's for comic accuracy.
