Does anyone know how Nitro Zeus (and his mold mates) fares with Starscream in both modes size wise? Photos would be appreciated! Thanks!

 

Can't answer your Nitro Zeus question, but I agree with your dropkick and shatter idea. I had helicopter dropkick but I sold mine and stuck with the car and jet versions. They help capture the character pretty well.

 

I currently have them in jet mode, hope this helps.

It's a lovely figure, it's just tabbing everything in jet mode that takes the shine off, that and the shoulders...

 

KSI Boss. Its Its pretty generic and inaccurate. Nice paint though.

VW Bee is trash. I've had terrible robots before but never before have I ever wanted to stomp out a figure so badly. I

It really is. I don't understand how they went from Thundercracker to the lackluster KSI Boss. It's a good thing I keep my bots in robot mode Thundercracker is definitely hard to transform and tab together. This mold is still interesting though, I always wonder if we'll get a proper Nitro repaint or maybe just a whole new mold

 

I'm doubtful if we'll get many TLK Studio Series figures; the "Premier Edition" really felt like a precursor to the line in terms of quality, so I can only see them redoing characters for the sake of including them in the numbering system, or making characters missing from the original line like Onslaught and Mohawk. Still, we can hope!

 

Please never EVER consider buying the Movie 1 deco of the SS Ratchet mold. He can't stand up to save his life, nor does he have outstanding paint or engineering to make up for it.

If you really wanted to try him, go for the DOTM repaint instead. I have a lot of issues with the SS Ratchet mold, but I still recognize SS-16 as being at least an improvement.

 

I could see us getting TLK characters eventually. Id expect popular characters like Nitro Zues, Hot Rod and obviously Bee, Megatron and Optimus. Can't really say much for the others though as their screen time was atrocious.

 

I certainly wouldn't mind a voyager Megatron with a masked head, and a Nemesis Prime is almost guaranteed if they do an AOE Prime...

And, let's not kid ourselves, would Hasbro turn down such a good opportunity to reuse moulds? XD

Hot Rod needs a new mold and SS TLK Optimus needs to be smaller, have the accurate forearm guards, and come with a secondary Nemesis head that we can swap out. Megs just needs a more accurate paint job and the leader’s head. On the topic of Crosshairs, do people expect Hasbro not to make him a Shellformer? Like his design does not help make him anything but a shellformer with his trenchcoat and lack of real vehicle kibble

 

Nope, but Hasbro apparently upped their QC on SS-16. Reviews have said loose ball joints were rarer on him than on the first mold.

 

Ah, okay. I'll get the first one and hit it up with some Future or something.

 

I could see them residing TLK Voyagers Megatron as that fig is excellent imo although it could definitely use more upgrades. As for the TLK Optimus mold absolutely not. He needs a new mold in my opinion.
