Wow, they really just ignored the gift of the illustration's leg design for...that. The extraneous chicken legs are don't work and the Macross Gerwalk transformation of the illustration is even a freebie if you wanted an extra third jet mode.

 

It might be possible they have the gerwalk in mind. There's a spring-loaded panel on the shin that I can only speculate its used for.

 

Frankly, I think I'll like this better if TC didn't include the "reference", lol. Not even close, head included. Also, bird mode legs seems severely limited in posability. :/

 

Yeah, I do follow gundam a little. And yknow, to that extent, the proto of their Wolfpack and starscreech here really feel like gundams don't they. I suppose that's why they abandoned the concepts. Doesnt help much but still, gives a better perspective.

As far as I know they are. I got them (EDIT: them = the links) on here originally shared by LazyAza, though many other members have shared the links if you just search the 3rd Party Discussion forum for DLSite you will see all the posts, 7 different people have shared them (including me) and I assume all 7 have bought them, plus who knows how many people that haven't. The 2 T-Beast books are the only thing I've ever bought from them, just PDF files to download.

He's looking slick.   I especially dig on how his face looks pretty beastliy which helps sells him on having a different look fr him as opposed to being yet another faithful recreation of his G1 sunbow model. The way his eagle neck evokes a nosecone is a nice touch too.

Is that so? I've been out of the loop for a long time but the last time I know when bandai closed down bootleg company was when they closed down dragon momoko,I guess the other ones such as daban and hongli was affected too,huh.

Immediately thought of this as I saw this Starscream.

 

They also did that one deluxe optimus. The articulation was a bit limited, but apparently a lot of diecast.

 

I'll give them this, they didn't want to just have the legs become the bird legs which would look really odd. the back looks odd but I appreciate the actual bird legs.

 

So anyone wondering how much this'll cost? I'm wondering if they sold kos to Kickstart their move in 3rd party. So, if so, are they going to continue selling kos, and if thats abandoned. And if selling the kos will help bring down the price of this. I'm going to guess this is going for around the 110 mark?
