I picked up the two pack at South Lebanon Target. Not on shelf an employee grabbed it for me from the back. He made it sound like there was one left, but being held for someone.
Wow that was fast, it showed 3 in stock at noon today right before I left for lunch. I'm glad I didn't wait until after work like I had initially planned!
Yeeeah, that was actually being held for me, I called when I got off work to make sure it was there still and he said someone bought it. I ended up going to Florence to get the Seeker pack instead, they -should- have two left, but they’re in the back. Give an employee the DCPI number and they’ll grab it for you.
1 case (not full, now) of Seekers at Avon Target. I was able to get one, the other two remained when I left, but I've not checked to see if they remain. The guy was nice, but it was definitely an adventure for him. He doesn't work toys, he had to call a lady on her walkie and she confirmed it's a BIG pallet for mod reset and it's a Father's Day target. He had to cut the plastic wrap on the pallet to get to the case. He would not bring the case out at all, just the set he handed me. I was trying to get two, but with everything going on...eh.
I wanted to give a quick shout out to @haven for meeting up with me yesterday and having an ER LC Optimus Prime available to sell! Great guy!
Galaxius, I'm guessing you returned your defective package to Tri-County Target. I picked one up yesterday and didn't realize until I got home that the package was open. T-cracker has the exact defect you described. I'm not as bothered by the defect as he's still functional in both forms despite the transformation inconvenience. I am pissed that Target had a toy returned as defective and put it back on the shelf without any notice or reduction in the price.
I would say what stated when the item was returned at Guest Services. If someone returns an item to retail and doesn't say its defective or whatever the cause maybe, then retailer employees will put it back on the shelf. I've seen before first hand at Target and Walmart.
Picked up the Thundercracker and Skywarp pack at Rossford Target this morning; a very helpful stocker got it from the back. When I was approaching the checkout, I saw someone walk by with another, and we exchanged a knowing head nod. I'm curious if that was anyone from here?
It seems Columbus hasn't gotten the TC/SW set yet so hopefully in a couple days. Checked the kiosks at Graceland & Lennox this morning, both said 0 on hand 0 in back and not available at nearby stores. Brickseek & Targets site reflected this too, but wanted to try my luck. Excited to see one soon!
Fair point, whenever I've had to return an item I usually tell the service desk what was wrong. I had to return an SS Rampage to Walmart because it had two right treads so one didn't peg in vehicle mode. I let them know there was an assembly issue and the toy didn't work properly.
That Target is NOTORIOUS for putting stuff like that back on the shelves. It doesn’t matter what you tell them or how obvious the problem is. They WILL restock it.
An unfortunate lesson to learn, I'll be more cautious when looking for new stuff there. On the positive side, Skywarp and his purple accents is my preferred seeker, so I'm happy long term he's the one I get to fiddle with.
2 Seeker packs left at Target Spring Meadows in Holland. They were still in back and sealed in shipping box till they showed me and gave me one. The employee helping me told me when they get stocked it will be end cap on aisle F35.
If anyone can help out a fellow TFW2005/Transformer collector with a Seeker pack. I'm gladly to meetup and reimburse you.
Target on Beechmont Ave has a couple of Earthrise Leader Optimus Primes (and an Astrotrain) if you are still looking for them. No signs of the Seeker pack.
I legitimately and straight up told them that one of the figures was defective. My exact words were “I bought this item this morning and one of them is defective”. You can probably see my attempt at repairing the peg on Thundercracker. I’m honestly appalled that they just put it back on the shelf
Also forgot to mention yesterday that Target has Toy Resets planned for starting 6/21. By the end of the month there should be a location for both the Seeker pack and the Con Clone pack
The wings pop off on both my Skywarp and Thundercracker. The nosecone/spine assembly on Thundercracker was so loose I could wobble it by moving him. I got out the ol' wood burner and heated the pin. Pressed it all the way in and then some and tightened the plate as best I could. Helped a great deal. Feels like mold degradation is setting in or they used crap plastic.
